Wark Warks happily as she tears into the delicious roasted head while crispy, flakey hot juicy meat are for Aria and Vigil.

The smell of cooked flesh could be smelled for many kilometers, especially to those with good nose.

We can presume the date to go well, with Wark making sure predators stays away from the meat.

Exercises and food were had, pretty trees and flowers were looked at, things were nice.

For a more serious answer, not only is Tal the #1 important person that's not on the board, the project has a bunch of associated useful tech that Akras has the capacity to develop, but not the design quite yet. So by designing the Staff, Akras will be able to use that as a stepping stone to miniaturizing the IHSS reactor further. Possibly making a thing such as the laser pistol possible.

At the very least it'll develop a weapon that kill gods, just in case.
