Zander will Shadow the two Lovebirds from a distance with his doggos all in our exos and fully geared. He wants to test his stealthing while in exo, staying always within scope range of the two. Able to get there quickly if necessary.   

(realizing I have 26 dex and stealth is a dex based skill heh)

Zander is following at a safe distance behind he's approaching this like a bodyguard mission keep in the background unnoticed, just making sure the trio is left unmolested all while practicing his new skill stealth.

Tal heads down to R&D and commandeers several weapons designers. He has a Project. It will probably take a few days at the minimum, prolly around the same time as it'll take to fully fit the Mobile Base.

The base would simply be a staff with a laser and a miniaturized IHSS Reactor mounted in it. However if one chose to examine closely. They would find nanoscale glyphs and sigla across Literally every surface. The IHSS would in fact have a unique variant designed to function on its own Sigla and would be drawing in All mana without the designated Sigla on top of the normal heat, aka functionally a targeted Antimagic field that would probably hurt Arcane Creatures and Entities in the vicinity without the Sigla.

The assorted Glyphs and Runes would primarily be allow triggered shifting of the laser into something intended for direct damage against Incorporeals, Demons, Divinities, Spirits, and Entities, as well as enabling greatly increased channeling of the raw energy stored in the IHSS Reactor and in general better control of mana in general.

Odds are is the majority of the sigla inscribing will be done post Launch by automated systems but the staff itself and all the absolutely necessary bits of scribing would be finished by launch of the Gaian Dwarven Campaign.

Once that's done and in motion. Tal'll be creating quite a few necklaces with the specialized Sigla and handing them out to the assorted several dozen Amalgams in Akras. Best not to accidentally kill them with the equivalent of an Antimagic field after all.

Where does Vigil plan to take Wark and Aria out on the Date Outing?

To the Gaian woods. Preferably closer to the mountains. A cave cqn make for a good shelter, if they have to stay for more than a night.

"Aria, want to try to ride Wark or do you wanna see if we cqn both keep up with her?"

"Regardless of speed I'd probably just fall off of Wark, so I'll just stay on foot and try to keep up."

The Gaian forest doesn't have any nearby mountain, it's just mostly flat, largely trees.

The only mountain in sight are far, far away, and is probably where the dwarves are at.

You do go into the forest, it was night. And quite beautiful, with natural lights and large Gaian fireflies the size of a man's fist buzzing about.

A clearing could be found easily, so could a riverbank.

The forest is filled with the noise of alien bugs and creatures, most of which likely knows to stay away from the prowling Demigryph that's with you.

Meanwhile, Tal's Staff's design is underway. R&D gets to work on how to put an IHSS generator on the staff and not have it be so exposed that a stray bullet would cause a nuclear explosion.

They like challenges anyway.
