"Its defiantly going to be an interesting next few years. If we can the dwarfs to work with us and uplift the human civs to our tech level we'll be good to go I think."

"Tal. We're not the only company with access to a gate. There are other companies, at least one in Russia, with gates. Would it be a concern if they get Gaia's gate co-ordinates and send expeditions in? Also, would now be a good time to let Bill cause his promised mayhem? Also of consideration, why don't we just drop Terra into nuclear winter or at the very least nuke our abandoned facilities to stop them getting their hands on our tech?"

"The varied abandoned facilities will be going nuclear. Reactors are gonna go off."

"We aren't dropping Terra into a nuclear winter because nuke defenses are a thing and we do intend to come back later. They aren't gonna get Gaia's coordinates. Data about Gates was not stored offsite. The only way they could possibly reach Gaia is utter random chance. And seeing how there are literally infinite realities for them to sift through? The chance is almost null. To be blunt, they'll forget about the Akras incident in a month. They'll see the Akras US Compound as an untouchable oddity that nothing enters or exits and they'll forget. Just like they forgot the zombies a couple months ago."

"Hey Tal, wouldn't it make more sense to leave some people behind? A company is only as good as its consumers after all. I mean, we'd be losing a LOT of valuable resources abandoning Terraside. We should at least leave a small group behind to deal with the press. Heck, I'm sure we could pass this off as a feasible lie. Simply say that there was a misunderstanding, and that the appropriate people have been fired. Heck, lay off some interns after giving them fake official positions. Leaving Terra probably ain't the best idea. Also, I'm not going till I find Chad."

"Frazz, your attendance Gaiaside is compulsory. Non-negotiable. The best thing Chad can do for us is stay behind and mess with anyone who tries to follow us. He's got that place trapped to hell and back. Its the only way he can redeem himself in my eyes."

"Zach, I don't give a flying fuck what you think. I only listen to Tal, and only sometimes at that. Also, Chad is twice the man you are, and he doesn't even have Sith powers, yet he's man as to beat you every single encounter he has. He doesn't need redeeming, because he's already proven better than at least one team member multiple times.  So shut your mouth, and go back to jacking off to anime porn in your room."

Just to Clarify, the main compound that you're in right now isn't being abandoned. People will still work here, this is where the major manufacturing powers come from, after all. Akras haven't built heavy duty factories Gaia-side yet, and there's several stories worth of hydro-farms growing all sort of high-nutrient veggies and packed-to-the-max cube pigs being grown in labs just to support the employees that works here.

It's a good thing that Akras specialize in Bio-stuff and Robotics, people here gets to eat satisfying lab meat and robot-grown lettuces and stuff. Hell, even the Intern here gets to eat more meat than full time employees of most companies! [Bow chika-bow-wow.]

So you [or, Specifically the UK and German Akras that's coming over] might want to know where to fit all the extra people here.

Well, they can't. But what they can is push everyone new through the Gate and have them construct like, a Mega Akras Gaia or something. Just the biggest Akras compound ever built that would dwarf Akras US and most mountains.

They won't be building a company's building, they'll be building a civilization. Space will be plentiful enough, and with such things as Vertical hydro farms with built-in meat lab, the space required for farming to feed everyone could just be underground, or above ground, or anywhere, really. Mankind got architecture down to an art form.

Every once in a while, there'd be potshots from random civvies with rifles shooting their antique hunting rifles replicas at Akras security at the gate thinking they're some tough shit fighting for freedom, justice and the American way or some bullshit like that. They don't hit very often, and when they do, the bullet just shatters against body armor.

Drones and Magi are working overtime to scribe the wards while quite a number of them buzz above keeping eyes out.

It seems like company might be earlier than you think, while the Military will take a while to get here, the National Guard arrived much, much earlier with 'light' mil-grade equipment. Modern humvees with big, mounted assorted weapons ranging from good ol' Browing M2 modernized to the 20mm auto-cannons and Gatling guns.

National Guards came by the truckload to start setting up as people watch, they couldn't evacuate. There's nowhere for them to go, after all. They set up tents, they set up Portable Radar, light truck-towed SAMs and Artillery that's under 120mm, they even have Jammers! [then proceed to stare in confusion as your Recon drones refuses to be jammed thanks to literal Magi-tech heatsink that allowed for enough ECMs to rival jet fighters.] though Triple-A guns still work just fine discouraging drones from getting too close.

With them setting up Anti-Ballistic systems and the way they arrange the few IFVs they have, it looks like you're going to be in for one hell of a siege.

They're still setting up, though. So smuggling people inside should still be possible, if Zach and Zander or anyone else wants their relatives or family member tucked nice and safely into Akras and probably sent to live in a much better world that is Gaia, they should probably make a plan yesterday and get them started right-freaggin-now. Once you're surrounded, the only way for people to come in is through the besieging army or you go to get them, again through the besieging army.

Also the pot-shots are increasing in accuracy and lethality, you think the National Guards are supplying those goddamned snipers with better rifles.

Zander had already made the call shortly after the police and swat were dealt with to be brought in.

She is in the medical wing now, just waiting on the clone to be made. So soul transfer can be done.

Nothing happened.

Although after everything calmed down, you think you feel that it's a bit hard to breath.. can't be a respiratory problem, with modern medicine combined with literal magic, you should be at the prime of your health for the foreseeable future.

And the air's not that thick..
