Aria fired another Gauss round at the Raging monster as Arthur leaps onto the Zipline, the impact sending it's sweeping claw back an inch as the stake hits it's arm with force that would've exploded an elephant, but the remaining force was enough to allow it to catch Arthur's back piece of his armor, slicing through the trauma plates there like paper but failed to draw blood.

B. Carmine seems to notice the lack of effect from his HEIT rounds and switched to Armor-piercing Tracers, it's going to take a precious second before it can fire again. Precious seconds that are way too long in this situation.

Jenny silently accepted Vigil's bet and fired her bolt-action rifle, her bullet digging into it's soft-looking neck. But instead of the expected explosion of blood, there was only a trickle as the bullet was lodged inside and failed to exit the other end as she had wanted it to.

The frenzy scythe-armed snake does not seems to be that bothered, not when there's two Gauss stakes stuck on it and 25mm Armor-piercing rounds designed to pierce titanium-alloy plate armors on tanks striking against it's angled carapace, making slow progress but definitely is causing some effect. It must hurt like a motherfucker, which presumably, is going to piss the thing off constantly.

Maximus's shotgun slug just pinged off the thing, having it an angled bit of it's carapace.

"Shit shit shit shit.." The Carmines muttered as they began to sweat, suffering 1 point of penalty as they've became shaken with fright.

"Everyone stay calm. All we need to do is recover Arthur and drive away as fast as we can. Just gotta wait for him to get down the zipline."

If Aria still has ammo, she fires yet again. If not, she goes to the driver seat and tries to snap A. Carmine out of it.

"Aww screw your piss, sir. I am doing this without my advantage. Aria! Aim for its shoulder! Carmine aim for its mouth! Arthur, toss me my knife!"
Vigil would shoot at the thing with his SMG to get its attention, as soon as their firing stopped, and, if he got his knife back into his possession, as soon as it tried to charge at them, threw it at its mouth, aiming for the connection joints in its jaw.
