"Holy shit look at that guy go. What's wrong with him?"

Vigil managed to get a meat cube, a jug of water and a pan big enough to fill with said water and place it outside of the cage. It was not a bar cage, so the Demigryph just tries to peck through the clear glass to get to the food, it's tongue trying to lick through and just gets sad and frustrated that she can't reach the food.

Your base makes their way towards the Kobold's village/den..

"Nope, they're not sacrificing virgins to the sword. But I think a blood cult formed in it's name.." Maximus updated.

Vigil will Hold up a hand, and find the entrance, opening it up, and pulling inside the meat, tossing it to her. As she went and ate, he carried in the pan, and filled it to the absolute brim with water, before closing the entrance once more to find more food for her. This time grabbing 'Betsy', who has gained an unfortunate chip, and went off hunting small game for her to eat.

"Tal, I am going off hunting. I wont leave more than a mile or two away."

I hear a piranha is good eating.  I have a spear; I'll be fine!
The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

"Well, a fresh kill Is better than no kill." Vigil will go off, to drag one of the sheep-like creatures over to his new pet, 'under Tals command.'

The sheepbeast made bleating noises as it was effortlessly drug away, once thrown into the Demigryph's container, it savages the poor creature. Claws and beak ripping and rending flesh, rendering the Sheepbeast as little more than a memory as is devoured..

----

Meanwhile..

Riki sighs as she scribbles in her journal. It’s just one thing after another. Isn’t it? First Vrilk decided to try riding a Fiveleg, with obvious results. Followed by Elder Gugme getting himself gored by said very disgruntled Fiveleg during one of his.. Episodes. And now there’s a massive disembodied fang sitting in the middle of the camp. Gods knows where it came from but it very clearly didn’t like Talro. Not that she could blame it. Talro was a little piece of shit.

There's Rumbling in the distance, there's shaking in the water..

Riki sighs again. Louder this time. Goodie. From the jibbering she can hear, the mundanes decided to worship the fang. Apparently they decided to call it The Monolith. It doesn’t even Look like a monolith. What is wrong with these people?

The Rumbling got loud, the trees fell over. There were screams, there were awe. A massive.. absolutely massive beast strode in, stopping just at the very edge of the camp, short of crushing some poor fella.

Riki slides her journal into one of her many pouches. Can never have too many pockets afterall. She sits up and crawls out of her little hideyhole. Thirsty. Something looks odd in the camp but she pays it no heed. She’s about halfway to the edge of the camp by the time a certain thought slides into her conscious mind. That’s a dragon. She takes a couple more steps. THAT’S A DRAGON

"We've arrived at the destination." The Carmines announced.

Dr. Hu appeared right next to Zach when he turned around, holding a long.. thin metal spike and a tiny hammer. "I can take the pain away.. forever. If you want." Says the good doctor.

As for the Kobolds, some, a very small amount of them just.. gawks up at the base then have the reaction that you can only explain as 'Welp, this is it.' as they just.. kinda kicks their feet at the ground a bit. Certain that their doom have come.

While the remainders falls onto their knees and starts bowing before the large metal dragon, maybe worshipping a false god have angered this one who is surely a god of their own? Surely.

Maybe it's the blood cult! Maybe they should sacrifice the blood cult for the Dragon? Yes, that sounds good.

Vigil's sword is all but forgotten as several robed Kobolds are carried by the gathered crowd to be presented before the metal Dragon.
