Sure, they have rubbing oil to help you relax for that.

"No Zach. We're cutting losses here. The fact of the matter is that your brain, irregardless of mentalist tampering, retains the structures that your longterm memories are within. Give it time and a bit of research into your past to prompt them along and odds are is they'll come back in a few months. Worst case we have a copy of your brain's neurological patterns from back when you originally got your abilities, which means that wiiiith a bit of fiddling. We can probably copy the missing parts back in."

The other species you saw, such as other humans, mindslaved and controlled by Visionaries. The hobbit-sized ones are rank-and-file warriors. The larger, armored ones are Knights or - if they've lost their stingers - Corrosives."
"And Tal, you're not going to like this... There's something above the Queens in the hierarchy. I'm not sure what, but my guess is that there's even more powerful variants controlling the Queens. This resin stuff that they use for armor and construction? Functionally equivalent to kevlar for projectile resistance and structurally similar to concrete."
