"I will su-" Vigil stopped mid sentence and remembered his promise to the littlw girl. He would only allow her to kill him. Nobody else, until she gets her chance. And she was to try to kill nobody but him.

"Fine. I have one request, though."
He said, as he obediently layed down.
"I wish to reopened disscusions about Amber and her mothers fate after the mission before the debriefing, between you, me, and the higher ups."

"They get basic intern status. No better. Technical training will not be available to them. primarily due to potential culture shock concerns driving them mad and secondarily because even a murderhobo makes for a better repairworker. If you intend to pay out of pocket for her mother's limbs then that's on you. To put it bluntly, the higher ups will not be amused that you intend to challenge a small child to a deathmatch. If you decide you want to bother em about it then that's on you."

While people discuss things, the Halftrack arrives at the Mobile Base to drop Vigil and Zach off, then went to get the repeatedly Tranq'd Pseudo-Griffon. Dropping it off at the base too, THEN went to get Frazz and his tail, dropping them off so Frazz can have his tail re-attached.

THEN they went to the Elven settlement to pick up the Elven Magi that was chosen to be taken away. The look on their faces as the Halftrack rolled up is priceless.

Yeah! Science, bitch!

"Hum. Vote time. Just drive the entire base over to the Probable Kobolds to get Vigil's sword or just the halftrack? I don't care which. One is faster. The other will be mildly more amusing."

"Magi Vari go fix Frazz's tail with a monkey or five. Maybe Vigil's skeleton if we have spare monkeys. Actually. Vigil! Thoughts on having your skeleton replaced with something more durable? Also. Is Zach awake yet?"
