Several Bug Creatures came out from the destroyed hole along with one Kelpie and what looks like a human child as well as about a dozen 'warrior' bugs. They all burned in the napalm field before anything more can be observed about them besides identifying them from the scouting drone.

The Napalm continues to burn angrily.

"I think that flushed them out." A. Carmine mentioned, his eyes glued on the monitor that's showing the scouting drone's view.

Everyone feels a tingling sense again, but this time not as shocking as you've felt it earlier before. It was weird, like that temptation of suddenly wanting to eat something sour or sweet. But this is to want to serve the hive and sabotage your own fortress.

It was too weak to overcome your other more natural desires even if you try very hard to go along with it, your brain just don't think that sacrificing yourself to a bunch of bugs is a good idea. The sense of self is too damn high.

With the mobile base being over 2 miles out from the hive itself, the attack wasn't so bad and the Wiznerds were able to find out which part of a ward is reacting to the attacks and is quickly working together on making temporary wards to shield people from the attack. They should have something if you ever want to get closer than now.

Vigil, realizing that he no longer has any reason to stay around Tal goes back to the villagers, taking the tablet from whomever has it, no remorse or asking, sits in front of Amber, and, preparing himself as much as he can for anything that may be asked, sets it down between the two of them.
