Tal continues scanning and draws his smg, firing at the closest ice creatures as he slowly retreats along the rope towards the APC.

Aria starts shooting the creatures with the Stormtrooper LMR, aiming at the ones closest first, following Tal while doing so.

Vigil pulls out his sword, keeping to the middle of the group, ready to switch position to get a swift cut in, if one of those thingz try to hop to close.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

Arthur keeps his gun in single fire mode and continues shooting, he also grabbed the rope.

Even with scanners and cutting edge HUDs, it's still difficult to actually hit these things when they get serious. Jumping quickly in a zig-zag pattern that threaten to throw your aims off, never staying still long enough to make themselves a target. Jenny's sniper support were almost useless, with her target moving faster than she could track with her scope.

Tal's SMG burst nicked at one of the creatures that was jumping straight for the group, nicking it mid-air which seems to have caused it to shatters and rain what felt like glass shards onto you all. But the helmet and armor have protected you from getting hurt, and whatever cuts you may have received at your exposed hands and clothed arms were neglect-able given the situation.

Aria's LMR were giving good result with how much lead is being thrown down range, usually shattering any creatures that got hit by it's powerful rounds.

Arthur's single fire is having the same problem as Jenny, it's difficult to mark your target before it jumped elsewhere, throwing off your aim, while accurate, they're simply too fast to be dealt with easily.

Maximus's shotgun were found to be reasonably effective as well, firing powerful 12 gauge buckshot in the creature's general direction, needing only one pellet to take it down. The problem is his shotgun is pump-action, and these creatures are awfully fast.


The lights on their heads have switched from blue to bright red, they are visible now as black clouds when they jump and bulky humanoid in shape when they've slowed down. From here, they look remarkably like a human in modern battle gears. They are closing the distance very fast and will be upon you after your turn.

"Back to the APC. Follow the rope and keep firing." Tal continues to shoot whatever is closest and speeds up the fleeing along the rope. If he can snag one of those shards, he does and slips it into his pocket.

If they get into melee range he holsters his gun and starts using his quarterstaff, specifically in a defensive retreat stance.

((I can't see a corp allowing a potentially TKing psychopath into a job that teamwork matters. Nor can I see him staying on any given team very long when he sets off multiple red flags.))
