"Quite easily." The old man replies, nodding.

He shook his head.
"None that I know of."

"Good. If my team doesn't pick you, you will be chosen by another. Might even end up in the same mission in that situation."

"Do you have any questions for me?"

[Alright so I think that's everything we need to talk to the potential squaddies? Want to vote/choose which one/two you want and move forward a month?]

After careful consideration, Sir Maximus and Jenny C was chosen to be part of your team!

The month passes by, now you've got 2 months left before deployment!

Nalvi is recovering fast thanks to modern medicine, Now you're only mostly in cast but are no longer immobile! You've also managed to get someone to turn your quarter staff into a quarter mace! Tipped with Tungsten. Enhancing your plain quarter staff to add a significant amount of crushing damage just as you wanted!

Dr. Ayes have gained the temporary perk of 'I've seen this before..' and can, once for this upcoming mission, have bonuses for a fright check to help lessen the effect of fear by a level.

Tal probably went through the mission logs while immobile.

This month Tal will be doing that horror game thingy. He likes horror games.

Apparently the game that Dr. Ayes spent his month playing were so good that Nalvi and Aria both wanted to try!

Many nights were spent screaming and jumping off of your seats like little girls. Some people even took videos of it! Good times, good times.

Both Nalvi and Aria also gets the temporary perk 'I've seen this before..' as well!

Arthur, on the otherhand, watches Cat videos while the others play horror games. Those felines never cease to be amusing!

The month passes by!

It is now one month away from deployment, Nalvi have recovered enough to move around by themselves with reasonable speed.

The company have decided to keep the whole squad together for some sort of a 'team building' exercise, but people probably just ended up lounging around talking idly and wondering what's for dinner.

Although you do get to meet your Evac team, though. A couple of caucasian brothers, A. Carmine and B. Carmine. They are both pretty pleasant and talkative.

After getting to know each others and spent a few days with your new squaddies, it was time for mission briefing!

You were all gathered into a conference room that looked a size too big for a squad your size and your instructors, and there are a few too many seats. But they are comfortably and not many people would complain about it's size.

"Alright, valuable employees." Started a man in suits that you expect costed more than the whole squad's equipment combined. "I hope that you've enjoyed your two month's rest and have welcomed your new team members sufficiently. Because you've got less than a month before we sent you through the gate again, which we've already managed to get a UAV in the air and took some intel of it."

A picture of a lonely, high stone building appeared on the screen. "This is where you'll be going. So far it is the smallest 'castle' we've encountered, and we suspect that there may be smaller ones as well. This one is being designated Keep oh one." The corresponding name appeared over the picture.

"After taking note of last mission, we've decided that sending helicopters in are too costly and not very useful. So your squad will be taken to the operation area via the Armadillo APC by your designated Evac team, it'll be significantly more armored than the Evac helicopters and a lot cheaper as well. And because everyone was having so much problem with armor last time, we've armed your vehicle with the old, tried and true M242 bushmaster 25mm machine gun."

"This mission will be like the last one, you go in, take as many examples and intel as you possibly can, don't die, and try to obtain the artifact somewhere within the keep. Due to it's small size, only your squad will be going there. So It'll be just you and your vehicle. No one's going to come and bust your ass out if something went wrong, there will be no Evac choppers flying in to the rescue. As long as you return to the gate with videos, pictures and hopefully the artifact, we honestly don't care what you do to manage it."

The man clasps his hands together in front of him as he leans forward against the desk. "Any questions?"

After you've got your questions answered, you can either choose to do something for the month with your team, or skip to going through the gate.
