She repeats the same pondering gesture again.

"Well.. I could hit a playing card at four hundred yards.. could hit a moving target.. Not sure what I couldn't hit, though."

"Which which type of weapon?" That is very impressive regardless however."

((Is Andres's character still in? He said he was dropping out, so should I be recruiting two people or one?))

"Oh you know.." The petite lady shrugged her shoulders. "High-powered rifles with big bullets and bigger scope.. things like that."

[Andres's character is out along with the player. You can choose to recruit just one or two, though. Depends if you want your squad to be five or six.]

"Good to know. Do you have any questions for me?"

The woman nods. "We get paid for this, right?"

[~Neri]

"Correct."

[vkiNm]

"Alright, good enough for me. That's all I need to know." The Asian woman nodded, and after exchanging pleasantries, the call is disconnected.


Presumably, you start interviewing the last person, a Kenny D.

And by gods he must be the happiest-looking old man you've ever seen. It's as if he came straight out of those picture-perfect nursery home for the old's advertisements!

He appears to be wearing the Company's Security uniform, with colorful ribbon decorations signifying his seniority in this line of work.
The old man gives you a happy little smile that wrinkled the edge of his eyes further. "Hello there."

"Hello, you seem quite cheerful for someone who is applying to a job for fighting otherworldly demons."

[vkiNm]

"I haven't got that much long left to live, kid. What man wouldn't want to go out fighting monsters?"

[~Neri]

"One who doesn't want to risk dying in a potentially soul rending environ I would think."

[vkiNm]

The old man chuckles and smile. "Kid, real soul rending is when your kids and grandkids stopped mailing you for years and stopped visiting even sooner. When they finally showed up it's to make you sign a form that will take you to be in a nursery house for the rest of your short senile lives. Where you just know that you're going to die alone in a cold bed with nobody to particularly care about. I'd face whatever horrors on the other side of the gate over the crushing depression I'm going to get for years on end on this side any day."

"If I weren't in a full body cast right now and we were in person, I would hug you. That isn't something someone should have to experience."

[vkiNm]

"The sentiment is appreciated." The old man said with a nodding smile. "So I assume you're going to ask me what I can do, right? Well.. I've got years of experience as security officer, I can operate all sort of small arms.. And I'm not too bad in a tussle. Ain't got much else to brag about but I can say that There's not much for me to be afraid of anymore. I'm practically a dead man walking already, might as well get some fun out of it!"

"Athletic capacity?"

"Exercises regularly, but I'm an old man now."
