The Man with a long name grins wider and nods. You can almost see his eyes sparkle!

"Would be good to get back at 'em again." He mentioned. "For the Glory of the People's Imperial Republic of the Roman Senate!"

"Make sure you go over the recordings various teams have made, even if my squad doesn't end up with you, another squad most certainly will, and being aware of the kinds of threats encountered will make you that much more valuable to your team. I shall go interview the last two candidates now. Have a pleasant day~" Tal waits for Maximus to respond with some sort of goodbye before terminating the connection and contacting the next purrson on the list.

Over viewing what was recovered from the last mission was.. enlightening, to say the least.

Especially when everything was synced up together. And it turns out that your squad, while were crushed by rocks, were definitely the luckier of the three.

You even find out what triggers the rocks! apparently Delta Squad that went ahead of you mistook one of the stone statues as enemy, shooting it. That seems to be the equivalent of kicking a hornet's nest, since they too were then being pelted by rocks while numerous black figures dropped down from the ceiling all around them and ontop of them, screaming bloody murders with mouths that opened way too wide and have way too many teeth. Poor sods never had a chance to make it back.

As for the squad that went to the side, you finally get a good look at what wrecked them to hell and back. And the only reasonable description you can describe it is 'Large, heavily armored demonic-looking Knight with swords the size of my body.' it moved with speeds that it seriously should have nothing to do with. You could only imagine how terrifying it must be to face the thing face-to-face.

But the mission was brief, and everyone got their collective asses kicked. Even lost two of the Evac choppers!

Hopefully the higher ups learned something from this and adjust their strategy accordingly instead of just 'send moar men over there!'.

@Nalvi

You start interviewing the next person in line, Jenny C. She seems to be a rather petite woman with Asian heritage.
"Hi." She started once you appears on her screen.

"Hello. I have a few questions for you and you likely have a few for me."

"Do you know what we will be going up against should you be chosen?"

"Monsters, yeah. They showed us from the videos." The woman answered, rather flatly.

"Pretty high, I'd guess. And because those things are big, fast, scary and deadly?"

"Some of them are slow, invisible, and sneaky. Possibly mixed with the traits stated by you."

"The real danger is when they don't follow normal rules. There is a very large amount we do not know about these pocket dimensions. Some potentially mystical. However, everything so far encountered dies if you shoot it enough. Although I have a feeling some types may not stay dead."

"Marksman varies depending on the type of weapon, although it generally is good. How about give an example of what you could hit and what you could not?"
