What crap has Jon gotten himself into?... Again... And now they transfer me to Foxhound after the rumors of shit going down over there. I had such great job at security, bumming all day at the shooting range. Well beyond that alien 001 incident, that was awful to be in.

Look for Jon and greet any people that I meet on the way.

Jon could, of course, be found in the gym that he has choosen himself to be in to test out his new augmented arm, despite the protest of doctors. Because when you were disarmed and disembowled a few days ago, you weren't suppose to move much for a long time.

But Jon doesn't really find it to be that problematic, his recovery is going just fine enough and now he's having fun punching concrete slabs with his new cool robot arm. It doesn't even hurt anymore when he punches Concrete apart!

They think that if the development of Mechanised Assault Suit can be commercialized and mass-produced, the exo-skeleton needed to make it happen would be around 100* ontop of the Assault Suit's cost itself. Thanks to the miniature fusion reactor, they don't need giant battery packs anymore and will make such a thing much more possible. Plus Akras's got monopoly on the miniature Fusion reactor production. otherwise it could cost you like, a 1,000* per suit thanks to the licensing cost and such.

Frazz walks in to where the R&D have assembled a powerpoint explaining exactly why mech suits arent practical.

"Well, what about you guys get us something like the Caterpillar? Rigging up weapons could be done fairly easily by us, and youd just need a basic frame. Heck, think Lost Planet style. Those vehicles were mostly for farming purposes, but strap a gatling kn and its a pretty good weapon.

The problem about that is that the R&D Guys actually believe that the mech suits can be pratical, given the much smaller miniature fusion reactor that Akras is producing and the power output it gives. It's probably even possible to mount the laser gun that directly recharges from the reactor itself onto the suit!

Plus most of the R&D lots are Nerds, and they like mechsuits and powered armor and the likes too. So they're really going wild trying to develope the first ever working pratical Mechanized infantry assault armor.

While Dex may have had been part of the 001B incident, Eldritch Intern is a new thing. And what the hell is it anyway? some sort of a new Xeno they brought or whatever?

Plus with how Foxhound have been keeping Eldritch magic in secrecy, so Dex was never really told what happened. Or that Magic exists.
