Zachery worked on getting everyone's HUD linked together, real-time minimap aren't all that difficult to do once you've obtained the authority to.

It seems that Denizen 001 have ripped off the blast door and is heading down the hallway towards a crude and quick fortification set up by Floor G17's security team. They opens up their MAG Assault rifle at the creature and it hides behind it's scythe arm as it slowly continue to approach, sparks flying off of it's blades.

Unfortunately for the Security team, their MAG assault rifles only have a magazine capacity of 30 rounds, and they soon run dry. Facing such a nightmarish creature made reloading so much more difficult, and 001 took the chance when guards are reloading to rush the barricade, ramming through the whole thing with it's thick head and throws the security team away from the force, some are crippled immediately as heavy objects landed on them afterwards. Any that weren't immediately knocked pulled their pistols and tried shooting at the monster in vain, but an aborted cry as 001 bites at a nearby downed guard tells you enough of their fate.

Some stray bullets from all those MAG assault rifles seems to have caused some of the smaller pieces of 001's scales to chip, and some dug into it's thick muscles to cause some good bleeding, but if it bothered the monster, it did not show.

Foxhound and the Generic squads are done gearing, and probably so are the other floors. What's your plans?

"Guys, bad news. The thing's through the blast doors and just killed an entire team by ramming them then then eating the heads of the survivors. The MAG rifles aren't very effective because of reload time and the fact it uses the scythe as a shield. Claymores are still an option if we bait it and use detcord instead of a proximity trigger and hit the thing from behind. Did anything seem to attract the original? Blood, fear, cattle, things that shot at it, noises or anything like that?"

(Which way is it heading?) Keep tracking it, Put up a second minimap tracking the beast with the floor number next to the map, with elevators and stairs marked as high threat locations.

"Do we have anyone with explosives knowledge on the team? If not, grab someone who does and get eight claymores and about ninety meters of detcord from the armory. Get them to disable the laser triggers and rig them to blow with the detcord ten meters from a defended position. When the thing charges the defenses activate the claymores aiming at the sides. Hundreds of ball bearings are going to find targets. Don't forget the plunger to activate the detcord."

(I would think its a bad idea to broadcast, out loud, that you have been hacking into the company's security systems, regardless of the circumstances, but. . . if you want me to. . . )
"Zachary, you know what 'backed in a corner' means, right? Plus, my other sword is made out of the larger ones claws. Its smaller, which means, faster or not, its body is weaker. The only question is, how much."

"Rather then intricate deathtraps that will take far too long to set up. How bout we just nail it a few times with some Gauss rounds. That's how we put it down last time."

(I'm just broadcasting to the team)
"It will still swing with more force than you can, I'm sure. Not meaning any offence there, but Newton's laws say that if something is moving faster it will hit with more force than something the same size, travelling slower. If your sword is bigger, then that'll help, but it's still bigger than you and can put its whole body weight into a swing while moving fast. The end result if you engage it in melee will be a dead you."

"Also, if anyone can get me a drone I would be very appreciative. Preferably armed with a high calibre automatic gun or rockets of the armor piercing kind, if there's any in the armory."

"Tal... if those Gauss rounds miss then we are going to have a lot of collateral damage on our hands. A round goes through a wall, it could exit the building and fly for kilometers. Civilians could die" ((If we are in an underground facility tell me and I will retcon this)) "And if they overpenetrate we have the same problem. If it still lives after the volley of gauss rounds, however unlikely that is, there will be deaths. Not saying the deathtrap would change much, but it is statistically proven that traps offer a massive advantage to the side that uses them."

"Gauss rounds don't stop. the only collateral damage beyond a small hole will be if they hit something not securely connected to the ground. Examples being a car, a door, a person, or Denizen 001b. Civilian deaths are not a concern when putting down a behemoth that most certainly will cause innumerably larger numbers of civilian deaths if not disabled."

(I am not sure how vkiNm has it set up, but, the way I originally intended it to be is that the facility is an isolated area. You would still have to worry about casualties on the company's end, of unsuspecting people on the other side of walls.)
"If it comes down to us being stuck between it and a wall, you will see what I mean."

((You didn't even go to the armory, how would you have it? I see no way of you having it on your person.))

Thanks for the idea though. Ask the quartermaster if the floor's Gauss Pistol has been given out. If not, requisition it. Stand by at the Elevator afterwards and join up with Foxhound once they're on their way up (or down, if I read things wrong and this is an underground facility).

Foxhound is 10 floors underground, and 001 is 17 floors underground right now.

((Yeah, there is a Gauss Pistol on every floor. It isn't laying around in or near your workplace though. By armory I meant this floor's security room.))
