I don't even think it can be a tavern anymore XD The plan was to have it be multi level, with a central opening looking down into a tavern area. It came out as a lopsided monstrosity, with the central opening mashed against one corner and no room for stairs.. It might just be turned into warehouse space at this point, lol.

I can't really capture the building and why it is a problem in a screenshot, lol. In fact, it is being turned into a warehouse with a neat statue garden on top. So, B-.

AernJardos Wouldsandal joins the Dorf crew as a Female Cook. in theory, her name will not directly result in any severed feet.

Also, our military trio has survived their experience with total body blister slime (tm). Surprisingly little scarring.

So, I tried to collapse the top story again, since it was now superfluous. I then noticed that we had a lot of injured dwarves. Then I noticed that THE ENTIRE FLOOR ON EVERY FLOOR WAS DESTROYED BY THE COLLAPSE.

Blazecook will not be daunted. We will rebuild the entire floor block by block on every floor. It will be the most labor-intensive and inefficient warehouse ever constructed. If we didn't have a carved-stuff-only rule, I would just rebuild it from the ground up.

So hey, I'm going to officially declare this on hiatus. And by on hiatus, I mean the kind it probably won't come back from because by the time I have more time to do something this complex again, I'll be 40  :o

So hey, I'm going to do Blazecooks III as soon as the new version gets released "In a few days".

While I will miss having such an insane embark, I'm probably going to try humans and above-ground building again. The first Blazecooks had such character.

Any ideas for an embark? The first Blazecooks was in a temperate forest region next to a river. The idea again is to start at the beginning of time and create an above-ground, multi-generation city with a documented and detailed history.
