Ongoing gameplay is so much less upkeep than turn-based gameplay. More interesting, too. I'm interested to see how you guys take this.

The problem is that the normal color (white and black interchangably depending on them) is also used for actions that dont require GM input.

I don't really care what color people use. I'd just like it so everyone of the same unit type uses the same color. With the exception of the default color and orange for normal and input actions. If other people find this unnecessary, then there's no need.

I don't see a particular purpose. The OP says every character's player and class, so it really isn't necessary.

Yeah, I guess so. I just didn't want to have to check the OP every time someone posted and I didn't know. So strawbarrel can go back to using maroon and everyone can just sorta dibs their speech color if they haven't already.

Looking at other people's post more carefully, I see that most people do not mention their character names. I usually post in a more narration style and write my character's name so I guess I'll abandon the use of color text.

I'd say it be worth prefixing your post with your character's name? At the moment, updating got me like;

Where is that screen? I would love to have access to that so I can see whos who and whats what.

How about we prefix with name and occupation? Like Captain Majundar and Military Officer Cambell and Doctor Patel? Because at this point that's all the chracters I really know by name. I know that Katherine is a Navigator too I guess.
