Hi!

As the title says, I would like to know what you think about elven traders. Do you dislike their nitpicking about trade goods? Do you simply ignore them, or even attack them? Or do you do expanding trade with them, giving offerings for the druids?

I was wondering because unlike humans and dwarves, dealing with the elven traders is relatively tricky and the goods they offer seem to be mostly cloth and occasional berries.

Personally, I am on good terms with the elves. I produce lots of rock crafts and mugs and usually buy their entire goods.

But how do other people feel about them?

I sell rock crafts and silk clothes to them. We have a whole mountain of rocks, don't we?  

Well, but I don't have much interesting to their goods.

I usually buy cloth because I can't be bothered making it myself... (or at least the dwarves can't).

I usually sell them some engraved metal thing

You might occasionly need their cloth for a strange mood-so I usualy only trade with them once every couple of years.

Trading cave spider silk is fine with the elves.

I can't stand to chasm undamaged trade goods, so I find I need all the garbage disp- I mean trade- capacity I can get, and even the couple of mules the elves bring help.

I think elves are way too "hardcore". I mean whats the problem with elves having and using wood? They should be the best archers in the game. Bows = wood. Quite simple.

you mean like an artifact?  is there another way to engrave items that i have not noticed before?

Interesting. I was kind of worried I was the only one trading with them.

My question was actually triggered by two engravings my dwarves had made:
