(Hay Armok you can just kill the zombiewolves, they cant reach you in the tree and zombies wont run away they are no threat to you and its not as if you can miss)

(EDIT: i am impressed by Dark's knowledge of the rules, especially considering i only gave out the gurpslite file, those stats are very accurate for both potential dwarves and kobolds, but im not using templates because i dont want to confuse anyone. i just modified the pre-made characters stats to a more dwarven medium.

also ill be posting again before i go to bed)

(OOC: Heh, I really am a fast learner, provided I get a steady footing. For now I know how rolls work and how to make a character from stats to skills. I havent read about combat in too much detail, but I know that going into a 'crouch' gives you a +2 bonus to evade ranged weapons.  :D

By the way, would now be a good time for me to choose my start equipment? I realise the wagon may be well loaded already, but I reckon I need atleast commoner clothes, a weeks worth of plump helmet, 2 bottles of beer and a 12 hour candle.)

(but just killing them wouldn't be so fun! ...ok, the wolves are dead.)
(The wolf battle was before the carp attack by time weirdness, right? If so I would be at that to...)

Suddenly a swooshing sound is herd and the dwarves look surprised at a metal spike protruding from the head of BELLYSCALES, making the carp hesitate for several seconds before proceeding. A voice is herd "Those are mine, fish."

(OOC: alright since nobody else decided to post sadly, I shall take the liberty of controlling the other dwarves as best I can.)

ODDOM quickly recovered himself and grabbed onto the wagon.

NEK stared at the ugly gaping maw of BELLYSCALES. Out of all the fish he had ever caught, never had he seen one so horrible! (Fright check!)

KED being practical grabbed onto the wagon, not wanting to lose his stuff.

OLIN swung his axe in an all-out, powerful attack at BELLYSCALES, he wouldnt let this damn fish ruin this expedition!

THIKUT tried to take aim but BELLYSCALES was moving too fast, she fires her crossbow and hopes the bolt hits.

BONESTREAKED leaps at BELLYSCALES, but the swift rapids threaten to wash him down stream!

(OOC: This is all assuming Armok didnt just insta kill BELLYSCALES. Also if there are any other dwarves, make them grab the wagon if they have no weapon. A list of all dwarves would be handy, if you have it ready, otherwise I'll just check back through the thread.)

THIKUT, trapper, fires her crossbow at the apex of the fishes jump
(Roll Vrs crossbow13 = 12! hit!) = 12 points of damage. Bellyscales is badly peirced!

iHELMAROC, hunter, has also lined up ashot and lets his bolt fly.
(Roll Vrs Crossbow 14 = 9! hit!) The shot is accurate, but its scales provide too much protection for a deep wound this time. Bellyscales takes 4 points of damage.

OLIN,woodcutter, heaves his axe into BELLYSCALES as it charges right into him.
(Roll Vrs Ax 11(+4 allout attack) = 12!hit!) 6 cutting damage! Bellyscales is stunned from the wounds it has taken.

BELLYSCALES huge momentum carries it forward colliding with OLIN's body sending him hurtling out into the water, the currets carry him into the river. Bellyscales tremendous crash splashes everyone with water, the wave is nearly enough to knock somone less sturdy over.

NEK, fisher stares in horror at the size of the carp, mentally stunned.

TIWUTHI, mechanic is furious, and leaps upon the fish and seizes it by the protruding iron bar.

KED, miner "Throw me my pick boy! I can finish that monstrosity off!"

the WAGON is restrained by the rest of the dwarves who watch on in awe.

[offtopic]
err sorry for offtopic, but is there a DM who wants to try a RP game in irc or the like? Or at least who wants to try to coordinate the current events in irc (like, let's say, the thread is the action progress, and all discussion and offtopic goes to irc)?
I lack here a DM feedback and dialogue with players while I read this, maybe it'd be easier for me if I could directly chat with the DM, as other players? I have a long rp experience in rl, but I've never tried it on forums so I'm in doubt :\.

I used open rpg once, but making a commitment with 4 or 5 other people is a lot of pressure, i like it relaxed and at everyones conveniance, but i would play though.  I like to use by post because i can do it whenever i am in the mood instead.

Just a question about character creation. Is it 50 points still? I think the kobold from the previous page took a lot more, but the rules may change.

try for 50 points, but go over a little if you feel like , the kobold is umm special. Alternatively you can take over one of the other dwarves. also dwarves get +1 ht and -1 move for free along with some other stuff that has not come up and i havent mentioned yet.
