((SC, I shoulda had you do a !bed hair! sprite for her. xD Also wish I had her closed eyes one available since it would probably fit more, but oh well.))

It's not long after the noise before a certain lady heavily plonks her way down the stairs, stumbling over to the dining room. Sebastian deftly steps forward to guide her forward to her chair.

She looks quite groggy.

*Yawn* "Good mrorning erry one. How dlid you shreep?"

No, extremely groggy.

[SOLDIER First]

".....Well."

[UXLZ]

She eats a little, then pauses to speak. Her sense of self seems to have been regained quite quickly.

"I trust our accommodations were to your liking?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"No complaints. And yourself?"

(Oh well. It would have been funny. XD)

[UXLZ]

"Were my own accommodations to my liking? I would very much like to think so. "

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I meant more did you sleep well? There was quite a noise a little while ago."

She didn't say it, but she strongly suspected Lily had fallen out of the bed. And probably into something expensive.

[SOLDIER First]

"Your courtyard was lovely, until the rain started."

Theor was glad he had made the right choice. It was like how his parents had told him: there were times when a mercenary had to put on a show of toughness for their employer, and sleeping outside was one you should avoid unless you suspected ambushes or foul play. The swordsman looked well-slept and tidy.

"Good morning. The accommodations certainly were good ones, and the sound of rain does wonders for a night of sleep when it's not drenching you."

[Haspen]

"I've spent half the night on contemplating the glory of Zarasutra. That's even better than sleep!"

"So! Where, when, why and how we're going to wherever you wish to take us?"

[UXLZ]

"The where is into No Man's Land, right to the edge of the Fell, as was advertised. The when is most likely in an hour or so. the how is via horse. Unless you had planned on walking? As for why..."

She sighs pensively.

"That will have to wait until we're into Nostor proper. I'm willing to tell you my reasons, eventually, but for now you'd probably just think I'm crazy. Please, do not ask until we are over the border."


 

[Haspen]

"Your mental upheaval can't be possibly worse than mine!"

[GiglameshDespair]

Sam wandered in, looking pretty much the same as the night before - catching the mad priests statement.

"Huh? Whatever it is, yeah, he's prob'ly more nuts than you."

[Twinwolf]

"Won't ask. Don't want to risk being fired, you know?"

[UXLZ]

"I don't think I'm nuts, but I would still really rather not talk about it. For now. I'm sure you will understand why, eventually."

A servant wearing a straw hat comes into the room and whispers in Sebastian's ear.

"The horses are ready. We have enough provisions for several day's travel and intend on stopping by a small inn at Nostor's border on the way to tide us over until we find a village that can afford to trade. Either that, or we will have to live off the land for a short time."

Lily looks over the half-eaten breakfast that still clutters the table.

"It saddens me to waste anything. Please eat as much as you can before we depart, when you are all ready we will be able to leave."

Yet again, a lot of food finds it's way to Diana's plate.
