2. Lock taskbar to the right side of your desktop.
3. Run Resize Enable

standard and 12 points.  It should default to those when you open it.

Also, it'll let you buy gear above rating 12, and forbidden gear but you are not supposed to have access to those at char creation.  So only buy gear rating 1-12, 1-12R

I havent found anything saying you cant buy F items at the start, and since fake SINs and licenses are F items...

 Seriously. This dude has real licenses. I figure he will last about a week. Unless we do things that are legal.

It's more likely you'll be forced to ditch your old life, and buy a new one with the first few missions earnings pretty quickly.  Note this will include buying a fake sin for your child as well when you inevitably need to go into hiding... unless you are a cruel **ck who decides to leave him to an orphanage.

Otherwise Neonivek I believe is intending on either making a mage, mystic adept, or physical adept.  He's not sure which yet.

A decker would be useful, but don't expect me to dive too heavily into matrix heavy missions.  But I will certainly indulge whatever you want to make.


Please note I also run a sort of system like the video games where you can hire NPC help fairly easily, so if you _need_ a mage, decker, medic ect.  You can pretty easily hire off one for that mission.

I've heard it's bad form to have a decker on board, since then you have stretches of mission where the other folks have fuck-all to do, and that it's better to leave that kind of thing to the NPCs.

Thinking of making a 50-or-so-year-old human or elf largely mundane ex-con. Will need to read further in the core rulebook.

Well what happens is that I have to run two games at once effectively.  It's not that the other's don't have anything to do, it just gets a little slower.

Also I'll be in the r20 on and off for most of the day to answer questions.  I _am_ at work technically but it's raining and thus no one at all is showing up.

Parts shop at a marina, middle of the summer is major slow season.  It's busy in spring/fall as I order in tons of parts for repairs and painting.   Raining weekends mid summer means I tend to read a novel a day.

Riggers are fun, seeing as they get drones, vehicals and the ability to make arms and armor.

I didn't manage to finish my character as I'm not sure what's good and useful and there's just so much to take in. Would you kind if I use one of the premade "archetypes" during tomorrow? That way my chargen woes won't slow things down and can get a feeling for how things work.

 If you get on early tomorrow I will be able to help you a bit. particularly if Kilakan decides to show early.

 But mostly, you can just load up chummer, use the default option right at the start, and then make sure that you use up all your points and nearly all your money, while having everything you need under each tab.
