These were REALLY not good people...

The issue was that we didn't really do it for any good reason. We killed them before we even found out they were actually evil. They could have been under mind control, the sister could have been there because of severe brainwashing, or just about anything. The Coffin assumption was fair to admit, I am astonished the guy couldn't tell the difference between TWO separate children's voices and a grown woman's (you botched your roll :P)... but there we go. (not that... it would have made a difference)

This is kind of the second time we just defaulted to massacring everyone where it happened to be the solution... We are getting REALLY lucky.

---

I also checked the "Good feelings run"...

Basically these runs are "I am doing it for goodness" with less, or no, pay involved. Doing the right thing for good pay doesn't get the Good Feelings Run usually (In essence it means there should be a trade off)

But honestly, I think it is best to leave it up to Kilikan either way, and I'll try next time not to remind him of that bonus. >_< I should have been slapped for doing it this time.

----

Interesting thing you get paid VERY little for difficult missions in Shadowrun.

If you did a phenomenally difficult mission a nearly impossible task... in an area you are likely to just die on the spot for entering... Surrounded by dozens upon dozens of enemies...

You can only really expect 21k. Which is hilarious because even for a fully decked out Shadowrunner who would have cost millions of Nuyen... This still amounts to a suicide run.

Well good feelings run bonus or not, I tend to balance out more karma-less pay, more pay-less karma.  So once you guys start taking fantastically paying contracts, then the karma bonuses will dry up.  This initial karma rain is more or less intended to get you up to the level where, if I send the police after you, you won't be immediately gunned down in the streets sort of thing.

Also yeah, I'll try and give you hints towards how the mission should go in the initial description/additional background when you arrive there.  For the church you knew they were hugely anti-meta human and that the woman you were rescuing was a troll.  You also knew that their worship was outlawed, and that the dude leading the church was a relatively powerful spellcaster who didn't believe in magic; assumption being-He believes that his powers were sent by god so he could lead the purging of metahuman society.

Well generally speaking you do not want to actually fight the police. You take down a squad out of absolute necessity because not only do they never stop coming, and end up sending stronger and stronger squads, but it is a great way to outright get on the most wanted list.

I guess, but when things get to hot you need to get out. It is something somewhat unique to Shadowrun.

Hm. New information has come to light, and I have a potential thing I might like to do on Tuesdays from here on in and, as it happens, it's right at the timeslot of this game. Would it be possible for us to play on either Monday or Wednesday instead?

That's about the time I should be available, so that sounds very good indeed.
