Having decided, quite thoroughly, to get the show on the road, Zack pulls the van up and out of the parking garage onto the streets of the nation's capital. The obnoxiously perky voice of the GPS serves as a guide, though it's really not all that far. Suddenly, your headset radios crackle - looks like the woman wants to get another word in before the op starts.

"Everyone receiving? Good. Don't make the mistake of thinking this is a typical mission. You might have to trail a target for days just to ascertain whether or not they're a threat before getting the go-ahead to take them down. This is a special case and it should be treated like one. Got that? Good. I'm patching into the security camera in the building across the way. Should be able to assess and advise from that vantage point, but you should still get a drone up ASAP if only for aerial thermal view. I'll contact you again if more information arises."

Zack eases the van to a halt just down the street from the target building. There's a police blockade in place already, though these cops are probably on the Unit's payroll rather than the District's. You can see the grocery store through the windshield, and it's nothing to write home about. Large pane glass windows frame a glass door, and beyond the glass lies rows on rows of aisles...and panicky customers. It's time to get started.

Get out of the van. Wait for orders from the team leader.

Damien waits patiently, or at least he tries, as he awaits orders from the sarge.

"Understood, Ma'am."

Reyes turns around to look at his team. "Alright guys, I want you to know that we want to minimize casualties. Having a death on the newspaper concerning this issue would cause massive uproar, so minimize the amount of killing you need to do. Let's go."

The team disembarks from the van. Reyes issues a few more orders.

"Listen up. Analyst, I want you to approach the barricade and inquire about how the situation's been. We need intel right now. D, I want you to position yourself where you can shoot easily with that tranquilizer rifle of yours. You good with a long shot? Wheels and I will go to the back door, bringing a tear gas canister and paint with us; HWeap should go spook the guy in front and paint the store. I wouldn't suggest throwing anything yet; he may be able to throw it back at you. I'm not also sure if he can manipulate shrapnel and spent bullets into your sternum, so avoid shooting things that can be manipulated mentally with ease.

Paint team, ensure your goggles are running and functioning properly, because you're going to paint and you becoming blind to your own paint because of some wayward tele'd glob would mean the end of this plan.

Comms, I trust you can bug and tap electronics to ensure we get all the intel we need?

Lastly, we don't mobilize to attack our target yet; let's wait for the analyst to give us their findings, alright?. This means paint team goes nowhere near the site yet.
"

Reyes, after explaining, puts out a gesture. "Move out!"

Wait for analyst's findings.

Gulping, but left with no alternative other than looking like a wuss, Damien nods and looks for a vantage point. One where he could get a clear shot, and close enough to utilize the tranq rifle's range.
