Biography: Camilla Rinaldo was born on Earth Moon, in the lunar colony 'Galileo Rise'-to her, Earth was only a distant blue orb. Her place was the stark, yet sometimes beautiful rock strewn vistas of her home-planetoid-Earthers just call it the 'moon', but Lunars call her 'Mother'-both demanding and caring, shelter and storm in one. Most of her childhood was learning how to survive in this airless void...how to live with the shadows and silence, only broken by the crackle of radio communication. She was a lunar, and this was her life-still human, but changing...adapting. Fixing solar collectors, running zero-g ship yards and laboratories, and communication dishes was how the Lunars tended to make their living-all important Earth relay-and for the longest time Camilla was content with this. However, every Lunar is built with a certain wanderlust-for them, the endless starry sky is as close as they can touch...the normal bounds do not apply to their minds...they really only desire freedom. Trouble came to the Lunar colonies in the form of the SDF-the Sol Defense Force. Eager to expand control of the Earth governments, they began to increase their military presence in Lunar Orbit. Where before they defended her against criminals and pirates operating from the belt, now they began to oppress the citizens-even as some Earthers applauded bringing the 'De-Gene-erates' (this is, non-Earth humans with significant genetic adapations) into line. Some people might have picked up arms and fought, but the Lunars are not true warriors-they know how to defend themselves, but violence is against their nature-shooting at each other in zero-gravity tends to be fairly self defeating, when a slightly graze can compromise your suit. Instead, nearly all the Lunars fled to the stars in a single great day, in what they called the Great Journey-much to the confusion of the Earthers, who now had all they had wanted from the Moon, but lost the people who knew best how to use it.. They would always keep Mother in view behind them, but...it was clear they needed a world of their own, a world not controlled by SDF and it's unfortunate policies. It was bound to be dangerous. Many would no doubt perish. But many also hoped they would find a place to call home. In the meantime, they are content to travel the stars in their fleets and orbital depots, meeting, traveling, trading. Waiting for the call.
Camilla Rinaldo was one of these intrepid adventurers. Relatively young, with an affable air that easily attracted friends and confidants, she was always quick, mentally and physically-despite her relative lack of body strength, even less than most Lunars, due to a lack of protein in their diet. She quickly gained notice for her engineering and negotiating skills. Camilla was as multi-talented as most her people tend to be, and was viewed as optimal source to explore the great unknown, marking places for her people to settle in...needless to say, resettling a population is also not cheap-many Lunars are hard pressed to keep their ships and orbital stations running without SDF funding, and Lunar explorers tend to go forth in the idea that what they make should be help their people-credits buy a lot of food, medicine, and fuel. She has a lot of hopes, Camilla...
Physical Description: A zero G-adapted humanoid, Camilla is taller and lighter than normal female adult-about seven feet four, and only 88pds. Her body is lithe and slim, her skintone ghostly pale-moondusted, as it is called. Her eyes are slightly larger than normal, the iris's enlarged as well-they are a bright, misty grey. She moves with simple, confident grace on long legs, with the patience and agility a lunar colonist learns early in life. Her hair is a short bob, cut into twining braids-colored grey, black and white.

Equipment:
Weapon-Laser Ranged (L-ARG: A simple, solar powered handgun, reliable and easy to use-it can certainly kill if needed, but is also capable of incapacitating enemies by overloading their optic nerves.)
Armor-Light Armor (Lunar Mod Vac-Suit: The Lunars have developed Zero-G suits that fit them like second skins-every one is personalized for the wearer as they grow up with them, decorated with their own embellishments and enhancements. Camilla's, for example, is designed to slightly increase her strength with a modded exo-skeleton. It's also fairly stylish and sleek, fitting and accentuating her like a glove. Design wise, you could almost call it 'retro earth'-it's a shiny silver suit, like in the ancient Earth science fiction movies-with a spacious and geeky bubble dome, to fit on top of her head.
Misc-Lunar Dome: Camilla's personal place on the ship is fitted to her specs-variable gravity with adjustable settings, dry, cool climate-completely closed off from the ship by a heavy bulkhead (Lunars value privacy and don't like to share air), portions of the storage can even be sealed airtight. It's a dome shaped room, where she access nearly all her equipment and consoles at 360 degrees. Given that Lunars find gravity awkward, or even painful, it's the only place she sleep or rest in comfort. The walls of the dome are designed to be able to be brightened or dimmed by voice activation, or even to mimic the stars in a dark black sky. It's ideal for storing creatures or elements that do not respond well to standard gravity or pressure. In an emergency sense, her Dome room would be quite safe for a time, if something horrible happened to the ship.
Skills:
Zero-G Acrobatics: Camilla can move through low or no gravity with a fluidity unmatched by non-lunars.
Communications Expert: When your only contact with other humans is through machines, you learn to make them work...she's a pro at picking up signals, sending them, or keeping a line open through space interference.
Solar Engineer: Trained to make use of scant resources, Lunars enjoy using solar power for nearly everything (they call the sun, Father, of course). Camilla is highly experienced in constructing, adapting, and running solar energy systems.
Negotiation: Lunars, as a rule, don't fight each other. They do have arguments and disagreements, however-like most of her people, Camilla has learned all the ways to negotiate difficult situations without overt conflict. A quick mind and an honest face do wonders when avoiding violence.
