Zanz (sorry about that).

Continue eating and expanding. If the Trapoleons aren't helping with the nests, just eat them as a food source instead.

(Sorry about the confusion, I thought Trapoleons were practically stationary ambush predators).
((They are, for now.))

Giving waitlisted people the ability to murder non-responsive players was a great idea. Need to do that more often.

Garooda: Continue life

You should add some random events. Spice it up a bit.

Develop thermal sight ability so we can avoid our current predator and hunt camouflaged creatures better.

Closer, closer to a defensive strategy on the larger scale!  The krill could crush stationary targets before breaking away into individual krills, but an adaptation would be needed to catch more mobile predators.

Behavioural Adaptation: When threatened by larger predators, swarm above in a slightly spread out fashion and then mass-clump into effectively buckshot.  Drop.

Seadain
The Seadain as a collective felt the growth of the population rather quickly as the waters became saturated with pheromones. However, they had more uses than just that. The Seadain utilized their host for their own purpose, but keeping them alive seemed to improve population growth.

Begin evolving two sets of glands on each Seadain. One set of glands is receptory, picking up on the neural impulses of the host creature, and they second is excretory, putting out chemicals which have various secretions.

(Think adrenaline, seratonin, etc, many chemicals in modern-day creatures. It would have similar effect)

As a note, because of the way buoyancy and impact and all works, I have a feeling the buckshot strategy will be a lot less effective than you expect...or will need truly immense numbers of krill.

Like enough to satisfy a Garooda.

I was thinking it'd be less effective because of the slowdown caused by water resistance, and would be more akin to any predators just having little iron blobs rolling off their skin.

I have an end goal in mind for this.  Will take something like 5 more evolutions to get there, and in the meantime opportunistic predators are going to eat a lot of krill.

Maybe enough that their population will become unsustainable...inbreeding prevents effective evolution, after all.
