That's the way I always understood it to work. It's impossible for someone to attack you while having heal magic equipped.

It's still mostly the same, just edited the stuff that Giglamesh PMed me about. I wasn't in the best of moods when writing it the first time, which is why it was so grimdark.

XP is generally tracked for the whole group for FEFs. It's not how the games were, or indeed how I believe FEF is intended to, but it's a pain making sure everyone stays around the same level otherwise. You can't devour XP.  I think you're referencing the prepromote you got in the games, though. TALLY-HO, MARCUS!

Peg knights, social knights, and knights. LANCES! :v

Also, bows don't lose to magic. If anything, it's the other way around. @_@
