It's not a macguffin, it's a promotion item. I rolled for it on a whim. Be glad you didn't end up getting an Axe like you almost did (I decided to reroll that since it would have been ridiculous giving you an axe). xD

It was going to be something like a Steel-equivalent weapon, a promotion item or something for money. I considered including a stat increase but I thought it seemed too early for that.

I'll be setting up a party inventory system when I get home, and adding it to Sam's sheet.

Historically, boys became pages at like 7 years old and they started learning how to ride horses and swing a sword and whatever not long afterwards. Men-at-arms couldn't have been all that old.

ANYWAY: So what did Samantha get again? Did we seriously score a Knight's Crest already?

I think you and I are the only candidates for it if we did. And yeah, I'm in no rush to miss a ton of levels either. I want to be at least 1st Class Lv15 before thinking about it.

...wait, I'm confused. I haven't actually finished reading the rulebook, but the few Fire Emblem games I've played seemed to imply that you had to be at least so-and-so level before you could even use promotion items? Like, level 10+ or something, I think.
