Avery leads you quickly through the market and to the north distract, however when you get the north distract things become, confusing, with Avery leading you through back alleys and roads, and even once through an abandoned building, but you finally arrive at the lucky sorcerer. The shop is set between two other buildings, and has two levels, the first seems to be a store front, with a large window, in which Victor sees many products, some useful for mundane purposes, most not, with items such as devil blood, troll snot, iron shavings, and books and wands of many kinds.
Avery opens the door "This way please, head through the door on your left then up the stairs then first door on the right." if you enter you would see a room, with light spilling in from the window, the room has many shelves, most of them packed with the same kind of stuff that you say in the display window.

Victor enters and follows his directions. While he has a calm expression and demeanor his mind is a flurry of thoughts. He looks at Avery expectantly and gestures with his hands for him to speak.

You enter a rather spacious office, along with the normal office stuff ( rather nice desk, comfortable chair, etc) there is a number of chalks, candles, and iron shavings sitting around in a half organized mess, the room smells heavily of incense. "Welcome to my office, sorry for the mess, but I don't believe that you came here to admire my office space. Now, I consider myself an introductory guide on all things magic, with a specialty in infernal and demonic things, yjod od yjr ypnhir pg frnpmd, that was demonic by the way. Now magic is.." he then explains the basics of magic.

After Victor hears all that Avery has to say about the basics of magic he slowly puts a hand to his forehead. "I'm sorry, but i'm gonna need some time to, process all this. I mean, how could magic actually exist?"

Avery says after a moment "I know it seems insane, but, if magic wasn't real then why would there be a mages guild?"

"I have not seen such a guild, but I believe you. So, why are you telling me all this?"

"Partially because of the suspicion I would have caused if I have just said "Good day sir" and left. But their is another thing you should know," Avery turns around, and begins walking to a triangle shaped window on th other side of the room. "There is a secret war being waged on the streets, it's combatants being magical creatures of all types, elves, vampires, werewolves, tieflings, and, to some extant, humans. How do I know this, partially guesswork, the church of the day have a large presence in this city, yet I have seen a large amount of magical races." at this point he takes off his hat, allowing you to see two small horns sticking out from his hair. "Now I am sure you are wondering, what is the church of the day, to put it simply, they are a organization dedicated to the complete an utter genocide of people like me. So, any questions?"

His hand again moves to his sword's grip at the sight, but he catches himself and eases his hand. "No, i just need... time. It's kind of a lot to drop on a man. I mean all this about magic, mythical creatures and a shadow war being waged on the streets could drive any normal man insane." He realizes something. "So is there anything magical in North Blackwater?"

"From what I've been able to find out, 85 percent of the creatures I mentioned live here, mostly because of the absurd number of wards in the north, you remember that very backalley route I took getting you here, that is because from what I have seen, alot of the wards I mentioned earlier spill out into the street. Honestly I think that the only reason that the church hasn't burned down half the north section is because they can't bother too deal with all the wards."

"So that's why he was having issues," he whispered. "Oh, I just remembered, well it seems less important now, I was searching for a bounty system. You said you wanted to come with?"

"Yes, I would like to find a place where I can find people to show th- make money without doing anything overly illegal! Yes that was what I was trying to do, and while we walk I will tell about the differences between demons and devils." He turns back to Victor, grabbing another hat as he does so, this hat is wide brimmed, and has a symbol on the front of the top of the hat.

Victor walks out into the street and continues his search with Avery. "So what is it that you keep almost saying? I mean from what you told me your very existence is "Illegal", plus you revealed a hidden world I didn't know about, so what could be worse that you have to hide it from me?"

"You see, I follow a god named Vashna, and yes, he is a god, not a devil, demon, or whatever monster the church makes him out to be. Vashna is a lord of justice, and when he requested  a realm to punish those who did horrible things, steal from a rich landowner because you have children to feed, well you may not go to the highest tier of heaven you will still go to a lower tier of it, but if you slay thousands because you like how screams of agony sound, then you go to Hell, or worse the abyss. When the remaining gods refused to give him a realm to give justice to the wicked, he left this plane and went searching for a plane that could serve as a judging place for the wicked, he found two, one was totally empty and easily bent to his will, and the other had a native population of demons, which, due to their sensitivity to planer shifts, sensed his arrival, and became his agents, and demons suffer from an ailment, this ailment requires that they seek sustenance from souls, and thus, Vashna offered them a deal, they could get the souls of the unredeamable, people that were to bad for Hell, but to good for abyss. And now that your wondering why the abyss is so bad, Vashna makes custom punishments for all who go to it."

"Sounds like a true hell..." He pauses for a bit, then asks hesitantly. "Hey, so I was thinking, eventually I'm going to have to defend myself against one of these mythical creatures. You seem pretty knowledgeable, do you think you could teach me how?"

"Sure. You can never have too many freinds, so the first thing to remember is that I know the most about the most common races, demons, and weremice. I also am not as knowledgeable as any organizations that hunt us, like the backwater inquisition, oh wait, I meant the church of the day. Now, where do you want to start?"
