...If the humans didn't know, why do they have blood banks for feeding vampires?

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Some humans know. Like sorcerers. As far as in the dark humans know, bloodbanks are just to help people in hospitals.

But those with connection to the Church of the Day, would know about monsters correct?

Obviously.
I forgot to add "all", there might be some monster whom are not hostile and may not be known by the church.

The church of the day knows of most monsters, at least the most common ones. They might not have a good understanding of less common monsters though. So they'd know all about weres and vamps, but may have to call in a specialist on kitsune, and would have no idea what to do about something like a Wendego.

Hero name: Avery "three toe" Vanderson
Hero description: Avery is around six feet tall. He has fair skin and blue eyes, which vaguely remind people of the sea. He has two small red horns which poke out from a shock of brown hair. He wears a black utility coat (coat with many MANY pockets) and black trousers, out of the back of this a red tail pokes out. He has boots which are, you guessed it black!!
Hero/Faction backstory: Avery Vanderson was born to two noble parents, who took his demonic heritage as a bad omen and threw him out. Luckily for the boy he was found by an old occultist name Horatio Vanderson, who began teaching the child about the occult at the young age of 7. It has been 11 years since then and Horatio has died of old age, leaving young Avery to be in charge of the family business and to start a cult in this dark city.
Faction name: The hand of Vashna.
Faction race:Any, but tieflings preferred. We are the lucky ones that were chosen do his work on this earth. These horns and tails are not things to resent, they are things to be proud of. For when our lord of justice, Vashna, left heaven and made a realm for justice against ones sins, he realized he would need eyes, ears, and most importantly hands. And that is us, we are not monsters, we are merely the  hands of Vashna, lord of justice. And with his legions of daemons we shall bring justice to this forsaken city!!!
Faction type: Occultist. Or if you feel it to be better I can do religious.
Starting holding: sorcerer's shop.
Starting staff: Lesser daemon.

Accepted, but you won't have much more knowledge than an occultist of a different race.

Yours is the only one in a spoiler. I keep checking for big blocks of text and missing it. Sorry Twin.  :o Fixed it. I'm going to take one or two more and then type up everyone's start.

most humans don't believe in your existence. As a result, one of your main goals is to keep them in the dark.

"Monster" races only? Or are elves and dwarves are keeping up the masquerade too?

Actually, does that even work? Some of our races can reasonably pas for human, but when a bunch of dwarves are selling iron at the market, how are people not going to notice? Plus, we have a couple multi-race factions. When the human shows up at the application desk for a "we accept anybody" faction, how exactly are they going to break the news to him? Are they expected to kill him he he declines after finding out? That's going to be difficult for a mutli-race faction like the Seekers, who's stated goal is to end all fighting.

How is that going to work?
