I think we'll get trolled quite fast if everyone uses these things. Namely, they just make their RPGs cheap and let everyone have one...

If it protects from shrapnel, that's more than good enough to pretty thoroughly neuter them.

I'm pretty sure that just means they neuter their own long-range capabilities :P

or they treat us as materiel, or give large rifles for everyone.

Moving down expensive is fine, though. Just make the armor stampable.

That'd probably work, but I'm still not convinced that just making the armor cheaper is enough for a revision on its own. We really need to squeeze on this with the Arstotzkans at the gates in an increasingly literal sense. Let's try to improve the ergonomics as well as making it cheaper, if we do anything with it.

Alright, lets do this then.

Improve the tiger infantry armour, attempting to make it cheaper, more comfortable for the soldier wearing it and improving the effectiveness of it.

Tiger Infantry Armor: Stamping? Oh no, stamping is out of the question. This armor must be forged. However, with great effort you develop a series of machines which automate most of the hammering, tempering and so-on, as well as train a number of factory workers to be skilled blacksmiths, who finish each piece of armor, smoothing over any imperfections by hand. This elaborate process, requiring some changes in your factories, allows the armor's manufacturing to no longer be Complex.

That took a 6 and your metal forging attribute to pull off.

Winning. Do we get an advanced metal forging attribute from it too? :P

Does that mean Tiger armour has dropped to expensive? If so we can start fielding platoons of the stuff along with our tanks, have proper armoured infantry :P We just need an apc now, as kindly reminded by Tiruin.

Can we also forge our tank turrets?

Yeah, that's the only effect of it.

Can we also forge our tank turrets?
You could possibly revise them as such. As for your manganese alloy's effectiveness in a large-scale application like that, I'd have to do some research.

Maybe we could have our men stand in tiger armor on top of tanks, and use them as transport and help taking out the things that could take out our men?

Well, We probably could use the metalsmithing experience to start work on high-strength steel to be applied as RHA to our tanks. Something with molybdenum or such?

Still, all things considered I have good hopes for this turn. They'll likely have three designs they'll have to work on the next turn to counter ours.

Also, Offer the MK-47a to the germans, and offer the Destroyer and the Sorraia to the unknown party. Obsolete the MK-47, M2 Brumby (Replacing any brumbies in service with the Sorraia), The Horsekiller rifle and carbine, the T1 Smasher MkII and the M3 Wasp.

I'd suggest the bumblebee over the destroyer, and I'd be inclined to keep the horsekiller carbine (as I didn't think we had any other kind of carbine).

The HK carbine isn't exactly usable for most purposes.

Our cavalry have been shown using MK-47s on horseback, even before the revision, so I don't think we need the carbine.
