It's not a full suit of plate. It's a breastplate, helmet and faceplate. As is also only for our stormtroopers we could probably make it off aluminium, as it won't matter if it is expensive,  abs in game rules aluminium is as good as RHS.

I know exactly what you were getting at, but considering we're struggling to get exosuits to work in 2015, I doubt we can pull it off in 1930.

we're just too afraid to try, are we?

we could be bombing arstotzkans with nerve gas if we took something big and saw it through to completion

A: we're banning gas. B: We're spending a design phase making gas when we desperately need better gear.

So no, I doubt that reserching nerve gas is a good idea. At all.

In all fairness, Gas only saps the will of people to fight. Consider the average Moskurgan's hate on Arstotzkans and vice versa, gassing means more will volunteer for the front lines.

I do want to fix it, but right now our fighter needs fixing urgently.

+1 to fixing Yallowjacket engine to not let something silly to win even if I prefer something useful in jungles or mountains.

I still believe that this design will do little good. At least I hope we will find a good use for their design slot lock on the next turn

For our revision, I think still we should try to improve our logistics. Right now we have 2 ore and 2 oil, which again is far too small for comfort. We could try to revise our trains to run on diesel, it requires a smaller labor pool and will let our trains run faster and carry more freight. Or we could introduce the intermodal container, which would speed loading from the trains out of the mountains to our trucks. Plus it'd make the yellow jacket cheap if done right.

We'd need to get more resources to extract first, which means taking territory.

And we have one unused point of logistics.

I don't think that we have any chance to capture jungles or mountains soon that is why I prefer low ore\oil designs.
