Yes, the Bumblebee Wunderwaffe can fire standard shells. I think it's even cheaper than your old artillery, but the calculator won't help a lot with ground targets which change speed quickly. Edited to add, it is NOT an autoloader and fires about 15 times per minute, although you can certainly have batteries of them.

So we can have batteries of guns, each firing a flak shell every four seconds. I'm ok with this.

I assume an autoloader would need to be part of a design action to get?

EDIT: What about adding a turbocharger to our interceptor as a revision?

These are all good ideas, but we can only do one.

Fix Camo - evilcherry, Kashyyk
Fix Hippo - evilcherry
Improvised PDW - evilcherry
Cheapen Tank - Devastator, Kashyyk
Add Turbocharger to YellowJacket - UR
Cheapen Radio - Taricus, Kashyyk
Cheapen Scopes - Taricus

I've just put people's names by their suggestions for the moment. UR, I figured the best way to implement your proposal was with a turbocharger that we stole from Arstotzka.

Personally, camo has been needed for way too long, I think the Hippo is throwing good money after bad, the PDW will be too much for a revision imo, cheapening the tank will bring us close to number parity in a situation where our tank is technically better I think, improving the YellowJacket will have a lessened effect due to our AA (but they'll be expecting us to design a fighter to catch their bomber, so I reckon they'll be designing a fighter to counter it, so that'll keep ours in the running), cheapening the radio will bring us back to radio parity, cheapening scopes won't have enough effect in the jungle and city imo, although once we're back in the desert or into the taiga, it'll be useful.

So, after that humongous run on sentence, I feel that either better camo, a cheaper tank or a cheaper radio is best for us.

The Jungle is where we are good most of the time, seeing as this Bumblebee Wunderwaffe will save our asses from air attacks and any ground attacks in the desert (at least if it works out as well as on paper) i'd say we upgrad ecamo for the mountain and jungle areas.

NO to the Arstotzkan Moskurg treaty except for the Decodation of Radio thing.

Might want to repeat that in the OOC thread, but what's your reasoning?

Can I vote twice for cheapening tanks?  Everyone else got two or three votes.

Currently I've made so everyone can vote for or against on each suggestion (if your name is on it, you vote for). Once we have an idea of the most popular suggestions we can move onto ranked voting.

I don't like that much, means you don't have to make a decision.  As we can only take one action, you shouldn't be able to vote for three or four of them.. that just means the deciding vote is the random passerbyer +1ing something random.  I'd rather find the best decision, not the third or fourth best one.

The radio, although not a bad decision, I don't think is the best one.  It's not necessary on the ground, where we will be using our telegraph and telephones more, due to fighting in the capital itself.  It's not really helpful in the air, as we can't make our fighters more effective at intercepting something they can't intercept.  It would help them win dogfights, but I don't think dogfights are that important.

Right now I can't think of a better use of a revision phase than doubling the number of armored vehicles.  Especially since the new flak gun should help them not die immediately.  Voting to help them in deployments would be nice, but we don't have defensive depth anymore, being right next to the rally points.

It's only to get a short list, not for the final decision.

What do you dislike with ranked voting?

We are voting on one, and only one, proposal, and I want the best one to win, not the consensus second or third best.  And I don't want to dilute responsability when bad decisions are made.. if I vote for a bad choice, I don't want to be reassured by my first or second choice being better.
