He's the only one approved to switch sides. I occasionally poke my nose in the Arstotzkan thread just like Sheb has done here.

Yeah, it's an open secret that we're spying on each other, I'd figure I'd just answer so Kashyyk wouldn't be waiting for Sensei.

Can anyone convince me why slat armor is more useful than a revise round for camo, except that we will waste a design round on armored troops?

there's no real reason why we can't pull the officers back and use non-officers for sniping duty other than our current tactics? we can afford to do camo later

Arstotzka spent a design round to create RPGs.
We can spend a revision round to create slat armour, which is specifically designed to nullify RPGs.

We will thus have spent our least powerful action to counter their most powerful one. This gives us an advantage.

...True. Though not at all convinced but I can get on this line of thinking.

Change vote to Slat Armour

To be precise and to conserve metal (also to make production cheaper) the armor should be made of Expanded(sheared) metal instead of plates.

+1 to slat armor.

Why can't we just tell the officers to wear enlisted uniforms. We don't need to waste a turn camouflaging them.

Our victory is assured, the yokels across the border just don't seem to realize it yet.

+1 to slat armor.

Slat Armor: Cheap armor (as Thin Armor) constructed of metal slats. Usually attached over real armor, can be seen through, and doesn't stop bullets. Its purpose is to cause fuzed shells to detonate early, so they are not in contact with the main armor when they do so. Looks like a fence around your tank.

T2 Breakers, T1 Smashers should they be fielded, are now equipped with slat armor. It was found to have significant weight and visibility effects on the smaller Struunk I however.
