Ghey fill the sky with fragmentation shells. I don't think massing more bombers will help that much. More likely,  more of their shots will hit.

And our bomber won't be past before anyone notices. Not that fast and not that low ( we aren't grazing rooftops)

Their AA gun specifically has trouble targeting low-flying target.

Also, how about using desant tactics to increase our infantry's mobility and offer protection against Hippo gunners?

We can try. Although our tank is a wedge, I am not sure if soldiers actually have places to stand on.

Guys, I'm gonna need you to at least +1 the obsolete orders. Feel free to +1 the battle orders as you see fit.

Battle Order: Give our soldiers one magazine of incendiary ammo for their main weapon and their sidearm each (Mountain troops excluded). Excellent for decreasing enemy morale, inflicting damage, and blowing up flamethrower troops.

Battle Order: When escorting bombers, the escorts are to be equipped solely with incendiary rounds.

Production Order: Paint our vehicles in camouflage colours.

Obsolete the 1910 Mag, the MC16, the AS-A19C, and the AS-HF-24. I'm not sure if we use our DB-HF-23 or not.

Glory to Arstotzka.

+1 on obsolescence , although they aren't actually used anymore, so it is more a matter of trimming the list.

+1 on battle orders, just as long as our troops still carry plenty of normal armor. order soldiers to use incendiary when shooting at flamethrowers.

+1 on production order camouflage, but we aren't getting it this cheap I feel.

by the way, look at their thread title. We are being taunted.

edit: our dive bomber is still widely used and still gives us an advantage.

our tank will tear through their armored columns. I can't wait to see it in action.

( yes, this is a bump)

You guys, if you're trying to bump for an update bump the OOC thread. :P

I'm writing the battle report. It should be ready in a couple hours, or tomorrow.

actually, I wanted to bump player perhaps even more than you :P I want discussion. And people approving or disapproving production orders. Nice to see things are progressing.

I know it is early since we don't know this turn's results, but I want to propose an APC. this will make our infantry able to keep up with the mobile tank warfare in the desert, and if done well it will give us much needed mobility in the jungle.

Spoiler: AS-APC-34 (click to show/hide)

Rather actually, maybe we can make it amphibious.

Most infantry fighting vehicles of this time had heavier armor and less carrying capacity, I would suggest 3 crew, pilot gunner and commander and 5 infantry, with light armor all around.  The auto cannon is a good idea and the firing points from inside.

If you want to just carry infantry you could drop the weapons to make it cheaper and faster maybe?  Rely on the combat ability of the soldiers.

the autocannon shouldn't be that heavy. If it is a problem, we can substitute it with a machinegun, which is lighter and still offers some cover fire ability. As for armor, the next thing up from their rifles is their anti tank guns. If we make armor sturdy enough for that, it is basically a stripped down tank. Not that  many APCs of the period weren't stripped down tanks, but I'd rather have it fast. not placing high demands on its armor might also allow us to use aluminium, reducing weight. Not sure how the numbers work out on that however.

Making it amphibious seems a great idea. definitely helps mobility, allows us to movee through swamps easily, makes bridges obsolete ( well, not really but our infantry will ford rivers more easily I guess).

Our highest priority without a doubt is getting that Nazi Ore. Why? To prevent Moskurg from getting it.
They do not lose control of this portion of the mountain, but the Moskurg ore supply is disrupted (Arstotzka 3/4). Failure to regain this ore will certainly end the war.
We shouldn't have too much difficulty holding the line in the Mountains, so as long as they don't get Ore from the Nazis we'll win the war.

The worst case scenario if we do nothing is that they get the Nazi Ore and they'll get back the Mountains. If they reduce the complexity of their armour, it will become cheap, as will a bunch of other stuff. That would damage us greatly.

Our semi-automatic battle rifle is ok, but hardly anything revolutionary. Moskurg's assault rifle, on the other hand, is. What we need to do is at least match it. Considering how well we did on revising our SMG, we'd probably get good things from our assault rifle, even if we had to revise it.

Design the AS-AR34.
Spoiler: AS-AR34 (click to show/hide)
Since we're using the larger 7.62mm round, it'll be better at longer ranges compared to the enemy's (appeasing Hitler's desire for a rifle even more and playing to our Patient advantage) and will perform better at AP.

If it weren't for the Nazi opportunity, I would instead suggest getting our own body armour.
The few Tiger Infantry Armor suits available are assigned to bunker machine gunners and storm troopers. They are greatly effective, and the soldiers equipped with them often appear to be bulletproof heroes.
Aside from automatically getting it cheaper and thus letting us field it in decent numbers (as well as nullifying the enemy armour's morale effects), we have aluminium so it can be even more effective.

Glory to Arstotzka.

We could create small armored motorcars and put all our infantry on them.

Why ironsight on the battle rifle instead of optical one?
