Spoiler: AS-HF-32 (click to show/hide)

vote. Added some more detail.  I think we are at 5 votes.
Oh, Arstotzka. The "one" face of my die just perks up whenever it hears you're making an airplane. It doesn't affect your engineers as much with this particular design, they're used to it by now.

AS-HF-32: An aluminum built fighter with a mid wing. It has a long narrow fuselage with a water cooled, turbo charged and fuel injected V10 motor. It has a square-ish closed canopy and fixed landing gear. It is armed with 2 AC-18s in the wings and 2 AS-1924s in the nose, on an interrupter gear. It is faster and can climb higher than the AS-DB or AS-1931 by a good margin, and despite some turbulence from the landing gear it has better maneuverability at high speeds. Not often, but sometimes, the landing gear breaks off in an extreme maneuver, forcing pilots to land the craft on its belly. It also includes two bomb mounts (up to 200 kg of bombs), which can be fitted with extra fuel tanks (+1 oil when in use). It costs 4 ore, 3 oil.

You gained Detachable Fuel Tanks; other aircraft will need a revision to use them, but new designs will support them automatically. You already have firebombs, and have been using them where appropriate.

Okay, I suggest we revise our parachutes, so our para-troopers can carry better gear.

Revise paratrooper gear to allow main weapons, pilotable parachutes, and grenades.

Wait a minute before jumping on the bandwagon

Parachuting gear is not all that usefull. In the mountains, our bombers don't have the range. In the desert, we're back in the open, and dropping paratroops in the open will result in a turkey shoot. In the Jungle, it was, by the GM's own statement, the expirement of the enemy's tank credit, not the paratroops that resulted in the advance.

+1 to Andres' parachuty stuff, let's make good use of our air superiority.

We don't have air superiority. Our current plane will be at best be on par with the Moskurgian craft, except perhaps at high altitude.

I propose we revise our scope to be cheaper, easily produced and easily integrated in various vehicles.

Added my suggestion.

Revising the scope should do a great deal in the mountains, and might be useful in the air and in the desert.

We could also fix our RPG's warhead, or armor our tanks a bit better.

Good point, but maybe our paratroopers weren't as effective as they could be only because they were armed with pistols. Think about it, they're only armed with pistols. Getting them armed with proper weapons would drastically increase their effectiveness.

We don't have air superiority. Our current plane will be at best be on par with the Moskurgian craft, except perhaps at high altitude.
We currently have air parity. Our new fighter should nudge that over into air superiority.

Obsolete our triplane.

Revising the scope should do a great deal in the mountains, and might be useful in the air and in the desert.
A new scope would certainly be useful in the open Desert, but it's been stated in the reports that our dive bombers were also very successful, being able to take out artillery positions too and stuff like that. Now that we have a heavy bomber, we'd be even more effective assuming we could field it. For that reason, revising our plane is better than revising our scope.

It would be nice to revise some tactical rail technology and make those scopes compatible.

If you revise scopes, add at least a tactical rail or variable zoom.

I still vote for parachuting gear. Our guys still had an effect with pilot parachutes and pistols, if we equip them properly they should be a great asset in areas in which we have more trouble (jungle, cities). Also,  if we hold the desert range may not be an issue

Considering our bombers' high altitudes, they could probably be used in paratrooper operations against the enemy mines when we go to assault it.

I am going to point that we're out of the cities for now. We should focus on rapidly advancing on their capital.

Revise our new plane to not suck. I just remembered that Moskurg nearly has nukes. Shooting down their planes will have to become top priority.

They don't have nukes. And even if they do, they don't have heavy bombers.
