I just realised we're doing a mass version of Naked Snake's mission in MGS3.

Well without any main weapons, they're definitely just gonna be a harrassing force. Basically, they're not to engage unless the fight is easily in their favor, hit enemy supplies and fade back, and generally do everything they can to not get pinned down in a stand-up fight. Scavenging enemy gear would be a part of that.

Edit:Though, a good idea would to investigate feasibility of dropping a couple crates of supplies(containing things like rifles, radios, ammo, and other stuff) along with the paratroopers a s a stopgap.Without needing a revision of course.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Still.
Extra little bit: When the paratrooper teams have been assembled, the most promising candidate shall be given the codename Naked Snake, when that candidate dies, the codename shall be passed onto the next best candidate.
If giant robots are ever discovered he/she shall immediately renamed Solid Snake.

+1 yes, just playing yes. also a veto on the crate idea that never works right and besides revising a cheaper (because of less resources) and more mobile weapon for a paras would help out a lot for the rest of our army too. (Urban warfare, the jungle, tank crews, etc.)

Yeah, because we don't have any cheap, light weapon right now.

We should probably make an all purpose assault rifle for our next design phase and specialised paratrooper rigging for our revision phase unless cirstajces conspire to force us to do something else.

There's but one solution.

Flying tanks.

Alternatively, this charming idea.

We probably will have to design a functional fighter aircraft.

I dunno, at least we're stalling them in the air. With their new Jungle-proofs Hippo, I feel the hurt will come from the Jungle.

What?
You're peeking in their thread and basing our future Design and Revision phases on it. Stop.

well, in our next design phase we will know for sure what hey designed/revised this turn.

and not having read their thread, I would be very surprised if they didn't fix their hippo.
Still, not reading current turns is a better policy, harder to generate bad blood that way.

anyway, the counter to hippo has been described earlier in hypotethical. revised slat armor.

What? We've designed our stuff already. We are going to be basing our design on their design, because we will see it at the battle phase anyway.

Can you please let 10ebbor10 speak for himself rather than blabber nonsense?

anyway, I'll grudgingly admit that, had we not revised the pistol, we could not have attempted this parachute trick.

also, by standard uniform sensei means without armor, right? no reason they couldn't bring cmouflage, since it is just patterned cloth.

Standard uniform includes light-ish aluminium flak plate.
