I think 1920 is included in the oil deal. 1921 is when we need to produce our own. by then, maybe we will be able to carry more?

also: for big guns, you want something like this
big bertha
or this?
ridiculously long ranged gun

the range of the second is 130 km. I wonder if we can bombard their capital with that? how big is this island?
(payload is underwhelming, but perhaps we can do better than germans)

And autoaim but this is nineteen twenty, I personally like the range on the second one, and as they say, you can still hit the ground.

Proposals to turn the tide in mountains

New 7.62mm machinegun. AS-1910 is an ancient design
+New machnegun is useful on all fronts.
+It will be a nicer auxiliary MG for our vehicles
+We have much experience in small arms, total failure is unlikely

Mountain Howitzer made from light alloys.
+ Gives mountain troops serious punch
+ supplements AS-1912 on other fronts even if it is lighter than a proper howitzer
+ gives experience in light alloys for future use in aviation

Anti-material bolt action sniper rifle that uses 20X100 ammo.
+ Useful in mountains because it will have a long range
+ One more anti-tank weapon for our troops
+ Weapon to leave their officers without their empty heads
+ We have much experience in small arms, total failure is unlikely

well, we have spotters(airplanes). then we will need a radio. I wonder if we can steal their?
but the long range one isn't for battlefield use, it is meant to hit cities from behind the horizon. cities tend to not move much, so occasional spotting should still let us land a few hits even without a direct radio link . of course, not terribly effective and historically such tactic weren't met with great military success.

by the way, if espionage isn't done, posting in the main thread about the plane might have been a mistake. Lets hope we won't pay it. I am eager to see it in action, with its great fire power.

I like the howitzer proposal, but before picking a project, I want to see the battle report. lets just hope we hold the plains. if we succeed in that, everything else can be achieved.

Their radio isint the best, I would prefer to develop our own.

That is, unless they upgraded it this year.

For them doing espionage via reading our thread, well, unless you can find proof(say in older discussions on their thread) than we dont really have a case, do we?

And that's why I speak about spy movements in code.

You can look, you just can't metagame. After all, if you couldn't look how could we order our spies to fit your funtime tanks with the same leaky seals that kept setting our train people on fire?
khek.

Anyway, while that big gun is nice, it's not going to be practical or very useful. I'd rather go for a superheavy howitzer. Shorter range, but 1 ton shells.

And we can forget spying on them. Loosing our spy would be devastating, as they'd steal everything that isn't nailed down the next turn.

Pretty sure they stated it several times in the OOC.

And that's why I speak about spy movements in code.
Nobody reads that though. Can I get a PM with what it's supposed to be.
