The trucks can also be used to move our artillery around.

Glory to Arstotzka.

A 50cal? What is that? It sounds like Imperialist weapon! We have glorious 7.62 and 20mm!

What about a glorious tracked vehicle to haul cargo like this

Perhaps after we get some more resources moving and somemore breathing room, particularly in the jungle. Untill then, I think we need a scoutcar and a normal truck.

It looks too big to only use 2 Oil, to be honest. It also wouldn't do as well on roads, which it'll need to do if it's gonna get us our Oil.

A scout car is even less able to transport Oil. It's made worse because the thing you described isn't a scout car, it's a tank. WWI tanks had armour 13mm thick. 20mm is insane. The GM only said our tank was 20mm because he didn't know much about armour thickness. To rationalise why the enemies' bullet even had a chance to pierce the armour, he said it was 20mm of garbage metal. If we want to make a new tank, let's give it a normal thickness with normal metal.

For our HV18 (the name I gave to our general purpose truck), the mountable armour and machine guns are second priority. Its use as a logistics tools comes first. Is everyone ok with this? If the plane is complex enough to become Very Expensive (unprecedented but possible) then it'll become a National Effort unless we get more Oil. We'll need the trucks to get us that Oil.

So its my suggestion, with slightly more turret armor, a weaker gun, and tracked? Oh, and an extra dude.

This is the general purpose truck by tryrar and edited by me.
Spoiler: AS-HV18 (click to show/hide)
The above is the best case scenarios. Highest priority is as logistics. Second-highest priority is weapons and detachable armour. Last priority is hydropneumatic suspension.

EDIT: Hey tryrar, why don't we just give both the cab and the bed AC18s? Our 1910s can't pierce enemy armour and they're our biggest threats. I also switched the 1910 to a 1910 Mag since it requires less people to operate. You can't exactly fit a machine gun crew in a truck's cab, you see.

I agree on the truck.

As far as the other design goes, I am a bit torn.
of the possibilities so far proposed, I think the airplane is the most interesting.Cost shouldn't be a problem: their tank uses 2 oil, a biplane engine is not that much different in size. At most it is going to be 3 oil, pushing it to very expensive. For an airplane, that is a suitable number.

uh-uh. speaking about the jungle... would a defoliant be useful?

by the way, I find it amusing that they spent a design on a tank that right now is a national effort for them to build.

I am going to vote for the plane AS-A18 and Light truck AS-HV18.

If we get a radio portable enough for a plane a redesign won't be that big a cost, also we can add more redesigns to it, we will need to revamp the plane later anyway.

Anyway: It looks like the vote is for a truck (primarily for logistics) and a biplane with an AC18. Correct?
