That said, I am going to say the same thing I did about the SMG: Its old enough that a new design will most likely be far better than any revision.
Tell that to m1911s, which are STILL used today somewhere. :P
Thats the 1911, which is the pistol equivalent of the SMLE, the MP5 or the AK-47. Its gonna be in use until the earth goes poof.

Well, there's nothing that doesn't say OUR pistol could become like that with a simple revision to make it actually use quality parts.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Honestly though, it looks like revising our fighter with an enclosed cockpit(maybe a bubble canopy), a revised turbocharged, fuel injected engine, and retractable landing gears is winning, so I'm simply gonna vote for that to avoid confusion.

Your AS-1909 is like an M1911, but shit. You could revise it to not be shit.

So, revisions in favor for fighter upgrades?

Nay. Primary vote is getting ghillie suits and secondary vote is increase DB engine efficiency to use 2 Oil instead of 3.

Glory to Arstotzka.

There's two votes for revising the fighter, and there's no other proposal that has more than one vote(and it can be argued your secondary vote counts as half a vote for the fighter)

I support any improvements to our fighters.  We must maintain the ability to protect our bombers in order to get any use out of the new design.

Revise the AS-1909 to be non-shit.

Seems like we would benefit hugely from that.

Fuck, now that someone else has voted for this I'm torn. On the one hand revising our fighter would allow total dominance in the skies with our new bobmer blowing them back to the stone age. On the other hand, I plan to introduce a new fighter design next turn if things go well, so maybe we might benefit from this more. Random.org decides!

Random.org says 1909 revision! I change my vote to revise 1909 to be more reliable!

That's not how secondary votes work. If my primary vote doesn't get enough votes to pass, my secondary vote acts as my primary vote on whatever it's being applied to. Otherwise, the secondary vote isn't used.

Tertiary vote is revising the 1909 to not be Shoddy.

Uh oh.  Uhhhhh.

But what if their fighters mess up our new bomber deisgn?  Usually designs achieve the most impact on the turn of their introduction, then the enemy does something to mitigate it.

We still have parity even with their new fighter, so that's not an issue at the moment. If their fighter was absolutely destroying us in the skies that'd be one thing, but at worst we're even generally speaking

Yeah true.  In fact they would probably try to gain some advantage in infantry combat to force us out of their capitol.

Back to the 1909.

You know, I just managed to find how our design stage turned out.

I must say, with all the other insane shit that has happened in the game, I dont know why I was surprised that the design team is inept enough to mix up dorsal and ventral, what with the spy agency hiring the mentally disabled.
Well, thats Forenian priorities for you. Every one who can fight does, and the rest get to do some work anywhere else.

I wonder how we got chosen for our jobs... Did the firing squad miss us after they caught us lost behind our lines?

To clear up any misunderstandings from the internet, I was attempting to be amusing. Aint no salt (well, besides what I use to season soup) here. Mostly just shocked amusement.

We're probably sleeper agents from other countries, Forenia being locked in eternal war is actually a pretty smart tactic, necessity is he mother of invention, I'm told, and what better necessity than patriotism fuelled war, and every so often, leverage some power to get a sweet weapon design that other countries mightn't have.
