I guess what I was looking for was just some more advanced stuff.

well, lets do it.

Wait we are using this for our design phase?  Shouldn't we be a little more ambitious if we are doing that?  Like a lighter radio that automatically decodes the stuff or something?

Design phases are major improvements, they got encryption with just a revision phase.

Point. Let's see if we can get a lighter/less complex radio while we are at it

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

This is not just encryption.

It's a series of electromechanical computers capable of cracking their codes, encrypting our communications, or targeting our artillery. (1 computer for each, that is. No reprogramming yet.)

yes. This is more than encryption/decryption, this is a general advance in automated computing. Which we can use for encryption/decryption, but also to target artillery, to simplify calculations for designs, etc.

Oh, right. That makes it a bit clearer.

Wait, but, are we putting these computers in every tank?  We need to decrypt and encrypt our own codes in the field for the radios to be useful.

I think the decryption part is mostly to decrypt Moskurg communications. Although if we want to use those to encrypt and decrypt our communications, we need to connect them to radios. which could make them heavier? hm

Which is probably why we should try to get smaller radios at the same time...maybe by making it all one unit? A radio with an attached encrypt/decrypt unit?

Edit: Of nothing else, we can have a command unit consisting of an encrypt/decrypt unit and radio. Better than nothing at least!

Alright, so you're agreed on radios and encryption? You probably won't get a targeting computer out of the same design.

That's not good enough then. They made a revision, we should also use revision to do it.

We arent asking for a targeting computer, jsut a arty computation one. Speed up development of arty firing tables.

Encryption/Decryption computer since we cant go wrong by having better encryption.
