How do you feel about the use of guns in this setting?

We know how to make them and they're useful, mainline production.

To again clarify my prior posts about college-based time restrictions, I have no interest in abandoning this project, and in fact consider some form of routine writing to be an important part of my future. The time and gumption to update have, obviously, been available only sporadically, but things like feedback and more than two people posting are quite motivational.
