Take a closer look at the statue.

"So who's this then?"

Determine the identities of the statues.

Examine one of the prone figures.
A mummified corpse covered in rotting bandages. It is barren of valuables.

Take a closer look at the statue.

"So who's this then?"
[3-1] No clue.

Determine the identities of the statues.
There is only one statue.
[3] You have no idea who it is.

Follows to the bottom, just wait.
"Nothing interests me so i am being on guard."
Being on guard.
Nothing of note occurs.

_____________
When the statue is approached by the two adventurers, the candlelight just barely illuminates the back of this square room, and yet another door. This would make the statue somewhere near the center of the room. The priestess can automatically identify the statue as the Goddess Reliqua.

It seems the whole perimeter of this room is lined with corpse-shelves, none of which are unusually-distinguished. If one were to peek behind the three doors, they would find the smooth, here is what they would see:
Left: the smooth, black stone of the short corridor beyond reflects the candle light, thus making it brighter. At the end is an archway leading to a room. All you can distinguish within is a black stone slab against the wall.
Front: another room, similar statue. However, instead of corpse-shelves along the wall, there are a few plain, smooth sarcophagi on the floor.
Right: ] the smooth, black stone of the long corridor beyond reflects the candle light, thus making it brighter. But to no avail, for the illumination does not the end of the hall.

Let the intense, 12-hour discussion & planning period, begin! ((while I sleep))

"How about we just go the way they like?"
Pick lit candle frow the walls, look for torch, then go front.
There are no lit candles in the catacombs.
[6-2] You do manage to find an extinguished torch. When lit, it illuminates the entire room clearly. Much better than a candle.
You see the next room is very similar to the last. (Except for the lack of corpse-shelves and the presence of the seven sarcophagi.
Note: Looting from dead bodies is dishonorable. (Unless you are taking the spoils of battle)

"I'm for the left side too. The black slab looks promising."
Diana flicks some excess melted wax from her burning candle. "I suppose we could do that, but I can't help protect everyone if we split up."

Join Margrave on a trip through the Left door.
The corridor leads you into a small room made of similar material. There are three things of note here:
1) 4 black slabs up against the same wall (of which you saw one, earlier), with barely any room between them.
2) To the left (assuming you are facing the slabs), a mosaic of a figure holding a short staff. The stones that form his eyes and mouth glisten in the candlelight.
3) To the right, an archway leading to a wider corridor, made at first of the black stone, but converting gradually into a non-reflective, dull gray stone. Corpse-shelves are chiseled into this corridor. At the end is a heavy double-door.

Examine the staff. Is it a regular staff or a magical one?

Examine the mosaic, especially the glistening parts. Are there any further details to glean from the figure?
[3] The mosaic is too vague for any fine details. In front of the figure, however, are four figures bowing on their knees in his direction.
[1] As for the glistening stones, they look as worthless as any old rock.
Examine each sarcophagi. Look for anything that i can read.
[2] You find no inscriptions.

Examine the staff. Is it a regular staff or a magical one?
[1] Come to think of it, it doesn't really look like a staff; it almost looks like a weapon. Or perhaps a map case?

Eric looks around himself and sees everyone is gone.

"Well, off to adventure then."

Go down the passage on the right.

Return one room back, and go to the left. (not to get confused, go where 2guys went)
"Anything here guys?"
Enlighten room with the torch.

"Nothing here, huh... welp... then ill go..."
Return one room back, and go to the left. (not to get confused, go where 2guys went)
"Anything here guys?"
Enlighten room with the torch.
[5] The room is enlightened. Nothing new is uncovered.
Look at my past posts for the description of the room.
You find the two adventurers at the pair of open double-doors. Look at Andres' action result for a description of the corridor beyond.

Eric looks around himself and sees everyone is gone.

"Well, off to adventure then."

Go down the passage on the right.
It leads to a wooden door. It is stuck. [6] You kick it off its hinges.
The next room is pretty barren. Almost everything seems to fallen into the large hole that covers 3/4 of the floor. It looks like it was caused by a collapse into the room beneath it. Down in the hole you can see the glistening of gold, and a wooden door without any hinges.

Try to open the double doors.
You find they open quite easily. You emerge about halfway down a similar hallway:
Left: A perpendicular intersection with another hallway.
Right: A set of double-doors on the wall across from you. Then darkness.

"Well, that appeared to be fruitless. Not much to see."

Take a look at the black stone slabs and help Margrave with the doors afterwards.
[4] The slabs are black, plain, and unmarked. Perhaps there is something behind them?
You find the doors already opened by Margrave.
Look at his action result for what can be seen in the hallway.
