Nantale had been, for lack of a better word, sulking. She was still unhappy about having been forced on this trip and the battle hadn't exactly done anything to help that. And finding out people here treated her exactly as she had believed they would just made her even more frustrated. As Cyryl and Eneas continued arguing, she finally gave up with a growl. Shifting into her cat form, she moved a good distance away from the group in an attempt to get some peace.

: "Then I guess we're in disagreement then. I won't deny the possibility of isolated incidents, but it just isn't that common to see such an event in Sanctuary."

Cyryl looked over at Nantale when she transformed and slinked off, frowning slightly. "She gonna be okay?" He muttered, more to himself than anyone else. Eneas's words retook his attention though. "It has happened, and I'm willing to bet it still happens, blind eye or no. You're no different from the rest of them."

"Ah!"

The comment caught Eneas off-guard and immediately put him on the defensive.

"W-well! Y-you're an idiot then for believing that w-we're all just murderous freaks!"

"Why shouldn't I? All Sanctuary seems to care about is killing any monster they can find! If it wasn't for monsters, I dunno what you bastards would do with your time! Makes me glad I wasn't raised there, believe me!"

"Oh yeah, I guess you're right! I'm just not cultured enough to enjoy killing people for being different! Why didn't I realize before?" Sarcasm dripped off of every syllable.

"Cyryl, that's enough."

Aenbarr might have had the bad habit of—sometimes stubbornly—measuring people by his own headstrong standards, but Eneas got a pass in some cases thanks to his behavior.

>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

"Yeah! Aenbarr is right, it's enough that I terrify the poor kid." Andala reached with her staff to give Eneas a bop.

Though Nantale had been far away, she still had been listening thanks to her increased hearing ability. She graduated and then padded over next to Cyryl. She rubbed her head gently against his hand and then started walking a few steps away from him. Progress seemed to be being made.

Eneas turns away from Cyryl and releases a pent-up stress breath.

: "T-thank you Aenbarr... I apprecia- *BOP* -knack!!"

The young boy flinched and turned towards the towering figure of Andala.

: "W-would you please stop that? I-I bruise really easily."

Once the girls on her were distracted, Valerie slowly recovered and shook her head until it was clear.

"Um. Hmm. Where were we?"

It seemed everyone had already reproached Cyryl so she decided not to hop on that particular bandwagon.

"Oh, right. Miss Andala, please stop hitting Eneas. He hasn't done anything to deserve it."

Now that Valerie was alright, Elysia thought about those she really didn't know much. Like the nice cat person.

"Nantale, what's on your mind?"
