The Bael, being obviously inhuman, was far more disguised than  the Mauthe Doog. In a hoat, bandanna, gloves, and cloth wraps to hide her feet, the Bael was sweating - or would be, if she could.

Forced to wear a hat to cover her ears and have her tail bound against her back, plus being sent along with this group had resulted in a less than happy Nantale. She grumbled quietly as she moved along, keeping one hand on the gem that the prince had given her as she did.

: "I am simply glad that we are off of the boat. I fear I can do no more sailing for a few weeks. My stomach cannot... Stomach it. Do you think that there might be a temple to Iris around here? And also... If we're trying to remain a low profile, shouldn't we walk in as separate groups? Such a large, multi-racial gathering like ours might cause a few heads to turn."

Only recently noticing Nantale, Elysia couldn't hide her enthusiasm for having the Captain-warrior being brought along with! Giving a subtle wave at her, she moves to 9-12.

"We have very different attire. I think we should pair up and split in mixed groups. Nantale, would you like me to go with you?"

"You must've never heard that one bard's song! As it goes, 'don'tcha know, you never split the party~!' in such _foreign busy town, Elysia."

"Maybe we should have a party. A food party."

"That song never sang when there was subterfuge. They can't catch everyone if we've not alerted anyone. They've to connect us all together if they don't know us--like how Nantale connected us together because we were outsiders. Any idea if we are easily discriminated?"

: "Well. I suppose we did finally make it across the ocean. Perhaps a party would be fun."

However, before he could think things out further, his eyes caught a glimpse of the robed folks in the road. He smiled. Ah! Priests or religious folks of some kind! Perhaps they would know where the temple is!

Larini made a dismissive 'psh' noise at Elysia.

"This spider is clearly just a human. There's no way they might discriminate this spider out."

Well, this was it. Mahkin and the girls were pretty much trapped. They'd managed to break away from the main group, and they'd gotten away, but there was no more running for her. She sighed, getting her magic ready. There'd be fighting, no getting out of it. Well, at least it meant they still had a chance... They all had their magic, and it was pretty strong. These men wouldn't be getting what they wanted that easily.

"Alright, girls... Form up around me. If they want us, they come to us, and we take them out, alright? I don't want any of you dying on me!"

Festenia scoffed, cracking her neck; her book already open and ready for a fight. "Yeah, right! We're not just gonna survive, we're gonna kick their asses! Ain't that right, Katia?"

Her friend sighed. "Just don't do anything overly reckless, alright? Your can't fight them all on your own, so try to think smart about this."

Melua simply sighed and nodded, hoping they'd be getting themselves out of this mess without too much trouble.

Inido knew he would very likely regret this, but a person in trouble was a person in trouble - even if this one was a monster. They were basically the same anyway, just with scales or claws.

"Miss, are you in some sort of trouble?"

Was that gate always open? Maybe she just hadn't noticed it, yet.

"Ah, yes! Can we pass through? We're in a bit of trouble, here!" If they could keep running, that'd be better than facing down this horde.

"I don't suppose why not, though I do have business at the apothecary if there's any spare time."

"While I'm unsure that a party is really necessary, it would definitely be welcome."
