Having trouble keeping up wit dis; had forgotten the major plot points that occurred perhaps a necro-post tier recap is in order

Yeah, you're right :p

Short recap:

You are Kaviik Nalrathai, an infamous sorcerer in your life, a bedtime story to frighten children after your death. After your hundred-long year trial in Hell, you were forbidden from Hell and Heaven, and forced to return to life. With nothing and nowhere to go to if you die again, living forever is a high priority.

You sensed three powerful auras loyal to you still: your hundred-and-ten year old apprentice, the remains of your loyal general, and a descendant of your first followers.

You reanimated in the graveyard of a town called Redridge, along with a horde of stolen souls used to fuel your undead army. You proceeded to massacre the living, but found your job was done for you by a mass murderer named the Red Killer.

To your surprise, the Red Killer was a young girl named Angel, an abused orphan fanatically dedicated to you because of her ancestors. Together you proceeded to attack the town of Redridge, culminating in a final battle at the church with a mage named Father Purius. To protect whatever was in their reliquary, the survivors in the church began and ancient and brutal spell to rapture the church, its inhabitants, and the artifacts inside.

You, Red and a half-elf boy named Fallen (who Red had 'played with' and took with her) proceeded to the next town of Red Crossing. Red provoked a sneak attack by alighting many of the wooden houses to cause bedlam, while you and your unliving charged. The attack was going well, until a band of mercenaries, led by a giant, eight-foot tall man, targeted you.

The giant warrior defeated you easily, claiming to be "Death", and you barely escaped by hiding your soul in another body. Red meanwhile was about to be kidnapped by the other mercenaries, but was rescued by Fallen who escaped.

You hid in Red Killer, both of you escaping into a cave prepared by some of your hidden followers. There she gave an exposition (on page 9 and 10) about background lore and such. You transferred yourself into her kitchen knife and enchanted it, housing yourself and making it magical.

Now you and Red are proceeding to Brutalos, a desert kingdom, the birthplace and resting place of your General, Bokor Blackboulder.

Be very wary of the cloaked man. Pace onwards to find our dead general.

Not wanting to dally longer than needed, you dig into the roasted duck prepared for you, eating ravenously and loudly. A few annoyed looks are thrown your way. No matter, they aren't the ones who've starved for days. Halfway finished with eating a greasy wing, the tussle upstairs seems to have escalated.

A mighty crash can be heard, followed by a yelp and a drawn-out groan. You summon your knife with your hand underneath the table, just in case. A loud roar issues from upstairs, and you jump from your seat as a man is kicked down the stairs, smashing into a pile of barrels. The man upstairs, barrel-bodied and shirtless, with sickly, pallid skin, shrieks madly, holding his head as if it were about to explode.

The man in the long, black cloak extends his arms towards the bestial man, and the air grows denser. The brute begins falling limp, and tumbles down the stairs, landing atop the first man.

You and the other bar-goers inspect the two fallen fighters. The first, though heavily bruised and splintered, is still breathing. The bigger one, however, is stiff and cold. You've known death well enough to know that this man has been dead for a long while. You turn, looking for the cloaked man.

You see him bolt out the door, hopping on a horse and riding off with another cloaked person. He turns and looks at you balefully, before turning his gaze at your knife and urging his horse to go faster and farther.

Losing your appetite, you prepare to leave.

"What do you think happened, Savior?" you ask, hoping to make it to the town of Brightstreams before it gets too dark.

Another necromancer, the same as I. Much more inferior, of course. I assume he hid that brutish creation of his in his room upstairs. My presence and overwhelming aura seemed to disrupt his control and caused it to run amok.

You clap gleefully. Savior really is the greatest! "That was great! You sure showed them, huh?" You stop smiling as a cutting pain pierces your mind.

Nothing to be proud of. I'm weakening. I couldn't control what I did; and in my experience, lack of control is disastrous.

You mull over that, and soon you reach the front gate of Brightstreams. Unfortunately, you don't have an army to besiege it and massacre all inside, but you really don't need to, according to your Savior.

The town of Brightstreams is renowned locally for being a trading hub for wealthy merchants and wayward adventurers. The quality of life is double, if not triple, than your own town of Redridge. (Though the quality of life in your town now is a bit 'rotten') There are plenty of taverns and inns to stay the night, and many shops and amenities provided. Near the center of town, where the streams flow, is the mansion of the local lord.

You enter the town, one step closer to Brutalos, and one step closer to your General.

Acclimate to your new status. If it isn't possible to maintain magical power as Red's Dagger, try to perform serial killings and resurrect yourself over another body.

Preferably, do not exactly slit portions of the body that makes it a lackluster, irreparable mess. You need to be able to speak (no throat cuts), to see and other things without exerting much necromantic force.

Only then will we be able to resume our journey unscathed.

was he mummified? also he's better "alive" than possessed by us, given he's... our trusted general.

Red, I will need a new body.

"So should we dig up a corpse or should I play with someone?" you ask gleefully.

Kill one. A fresh body is preferable. Make your work tidy, Red, and make it quick.

You nod, and slink off into the dead of night. Many of the Brightstream townsfolk are heading home after a long day's work, unwary that a dangerous murderer has slipped into their homes. You crawl and sneak and climb, each step as silent as shadow, and your movements as lithe as a snake.

You stake out worthy targets, your eye attuned to the presence of prey. And soon you find your first. A young man, dirty and callous, with the appearance and mannerisms of a manual laborer, perhaps a miner.

Suitable. Inconspicuous, strong of body, young as well. Though even from here I feel his stupidity and clumsiness. My powers would be hampered.

Another one catches your eye. A well-to-do woman, proud and graceful, yet her clothing and lack of jewelry separate her from the true nobility. Maybe she is a merchant, or a learned woman.

Worthy as well. Quite clever, and well resourced. Though she does look quite frail.

And finally, a huge boulder-looking man forcefully takes your attention. Boastful and merry, he talks raucously to his guardsmen, who support his huge frame on their shoulders. He is clothed in a noble's attire, well furnished and obviously well-born.

Strong, and even cunning. The darkness hidden in his heart is clear to me as candlelight. Though a man of his reputation, and his size, would be hard to miss.

"Which one do you want me to play with, Savior?"
