It's more like less necromancy and using bloodlust to power stuff, but yeaaaah she doesn't hate.

she has fun.

Let's try enhancing our power via happiness/fun; be this really cute and bubbly little girl that slices peoples' throats open in a genuinely happy way.

Before this goes any further, we should remind ourselves not to go the route of You Are a Demon and Evil Overlord and actually care for her. This daughter-type character should be dealt with as merely a tool to be used. Besides, artifacts/rituals work amazingly when Powered by a Forsaken Child.

I think we should have something tethering us.

It's been done before in the two games I mentioned as well as Patient Zero. I'm sick of playing an awesome super evil dude and then having it degenerate into being some girl's father figure. No vacations. No niceness. No love. EVIL ALL THE WAY.

I mean, we can kinda make an exception for our general because he's actually awesome.

To be fair, Pure psychopathy isn't psychologically possible. There can and will always be at least one thing a genocidal monster cares about. It can be twisted into rage if violated, but it's still caring in the end.

There is no such thing as evil. Every villain has a redeeming quality. Even if said quality is caring about their pet murderlizard that they feed millions to each year.

Except we don't have to play like that at all. We are, within the game, it's possible to be 100% evil, even if it's not IRL.

Ingame, we were once sapient.

Also it's no fun to play a character nobody likes.

Savior's undead might be scary, but their nails and teeth can only get them so far. You need to arm them! Smashing windows and unlocking doors, you create a little stockpile of cleavers, daggers and pointy metal jabbers. Enough to arm at least a quarter of the horde, but a little girl can only do so little.

"C'mon! Pick'em up!" you say expectantly. You are greeted by a loud "auuuuugh..."

Disappointed, you kick a loose pebble, blow a raspberry and run off to murder someone. You find a family of four, who opted to bar themselves in their house instead of running off into the castle. Since you can't exactly command Savior's undead, you instead throw a rock at the family's window, eliciting a scream. That got the ghouls' attention!

A few shamble to the door and begin knocking it down. You can hear the sobbing from behind the door. The door finally crashes, and you bolt in, shoving the ghoul out of the way and get to the family first; a father, mother and two little boys. You make short work of the parents, then move on to the children, about your age. While Master would prefer them alive, you don't know exactly how alive he likes them. Oh well, live and learn.

Unfortunately, one of the boys didn't quite last through your game of playing doctor. The second one had so much fun! You had a big, unfair advantage though, since you played that game so many times in the orphanage. But! As you learned, there is time for play and time for work. You drag the boy by the scruff of his tunic to where Savior is levitating.

"Almost done..." he whispers. You realize you've been playing for hours...

You control Kaviik! Your feet touch the ground as gently as a feather. You caress the skin on your face, rejuvenated and renewed. Your mind is filled with utmost clarity. You yearn to taste the souls of the dead once more, but if this hunger overtakes you, it could be disastrous. After a brief moment of admiring your new body, you set your eyes on Red and a boy covered in cuts and blood.

Before you decide what to do or say, you realize that the sun has fully risen, and a great horn blares in the castle. The gates open, revealing a party of eleven armored warriors, led by Father Purius. In your previous state you would have been worried, but restored to half-power you merely smile.

Ask what Red was up to. Arm the undead when she tells you she gathered equipment.

Create a runic, necromantic circle aimed to separate soul from body around the area you're in. Discreetly.

Mob the armed men with your undead, use your magic to dominate or distract the priest while instructing Red to find an opportunity to cause him harm.

Make sure Red is aware to not attack if she cannot find a safe opening. Pointless death is bad.

Tell Red to run off somewhere with the boy so she won't get hurt, but tell her she can watch if she wants.

Ok, we have a total of eleven warriors and a priest aiming to go up against an entire undead army on their own. There's no way they'd do this unless they thought that they could win, so I'm guessing they have some kind of AOE attack to take care of our army. The priest is the most likely person to cast such an AOE spell so we should focus on him while our army takes care of the warriors.

Fire a powerful necromantic bolt of energy at the priest. Charge our army at the survivors.

Ingame, we were once sapient.

Also it's no fun to play a character nobody likes.
I'd like him. I wouldn't sympathise with him but I'd like him. I certainly didn't like the Three Failures.
