"Si vis pacem para bellum." After gunning down one of the foes, Fakhr seemed moderately satisfied... Until shit hit the fan and splattered all over the group. "Like you say, hindsight's twenty twenty, right? How about we free the civilian we just tie a lot of cloth on Boyd's wound and pray it doesn't fester then try to get him to our current objective? I or Steele could help him walk. The longer we stay here, the higher the chances the drug dealers know who killed their people, and I'm allergic to lead."

>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Hanton tries to tear a strip of cloth from her sleeve to make a bandage, but the fabric won't rip.

"Nice, prepare to get going. I'll take point and if we find bogeys we'll only fire when everyone's ready and has taken cover." Fakhr stared meaningfully at Steele before taking the front. Oh, and he also frees the civilian in case he's still tied and checks the bodies for items. Loot's always good and maybe they have a first aid kit. "Did the bullet go clean through?"

Check the bodies for anything I can use.

Steele sees Fakhr and Slate looking at the bodies.
"Not much there. Couple AKs, but that's about it. They burned off most of their ammo when they were shooting at us."

**Hanton rolls a 73!**
Jesse tries to lift Boyd off the ground, to no avail.

"Can you just bandage me already? I'm fuckin' dying here!"

"Anyone that can use rifles should take one and loot as much ammo as possible, then. A few well-placed shots from rifles are better than going crazy with a pistol anyway." Fakhr headed to where Boyd and Hanton were and tried to help her lift Boyd. "Steele, help here."

"One sec."
He walks over to the smuggler he shot in the head and flips him over to retrieve his rifle.
"Not bad."

He returns to help Fakhr lift Boyd.

**Fakhr and Steele roll a 79!**

They manage to lift Boyd off the ground and put one of his arms over each of their shoulders.

"We got him, let's keep moving."

"Yes, moving. Hope we don't find any more of those idiots." Fakhr agreed after helping Boyd up, using an arm to keep the bigger man walk and keeping his SMG on the other.

Tortilla Korea Latin-Asian Fusion Cuisine
Selva Sur, Tropicana
Approximately 22:30 hours, local time

"This should be the place," Steele said.
He entered a series of numbers into the keypad by the door, and the door swung open, revealing an especially pungent odor. Steele flicked on the lights.

"Fuck! It smells like somebody- oh, Christ."
An SOF agent was slumped against the wall with a bullet hole in his forehead and an empty handgun lying at his side. The room was decorated like a restaurant, but it was clear from the dust on the tables that nobody had ever eaten there. A staircase led upstairs, to where the agents would have slept. Steele drew the blinds and closed the door after the rest of the group had entered. Steele pulled out his MBITR and began to speak into it.

**Steele rolls a 90!**

<"Pathfinder, this is Renegade, status report, over.">

A minute or so of a muffled female voice swearing can be heard over the radio.

<"'S Pathfinder. Go 'head, Renegade, over.">

The voice on the other end of the radio yawns.

<"Accidentally engaged a group of drug smugglers back in the jungle. One minor casualty, and one major one. We've arrived at Selva Sur. One dead operative on the lower floor. Hold on, let me get someone to check upstairs, over.">

Steele looks at Adriana and gestures towards the staircase. She crouches and heads up, pistol at the ready.

After a minute, "Two more bodies up here!"

<"Pathfinder, we've found two more bodies, over.">

<"Roger that, Renegade. There were four operatives, so there should be a fourth body somewhere. Happy hunting. Pathfinder out.">

Steele swears and puts the radio back in his pocket.
"Now, let's get Boyd patched up."

Adriana, pistol at the ready, cautiously goes through the rooms, searching for any clue as to what happened and the fourth body.

Afterwards, she examines the bodies, looking for Cause of Death and their gear.

They must have had a medkit laying around somewhere. If they didn't they were compete idiots, which is not impossible given how competent SOF has been so far.

Boyd looks around the safehouse from his position on Jesse and Fakhr's shoulders. "This doesn't look like a very safe safehouse to me."
