If you don’t know what Infinite Stratos is,

Infinite Stratos is a light novel and anime set a few years in the future. 10 years prior to the beginning of the show, Japanese mad scientist/genius Tabane Shinonono created a new technology that basically trumped every military thing ever. By a lot. It was called the Infinite Stratos, which was a mechanized exoskeleton that can be modified in a variety of ways. Set to revolutionize technology forever… except one issue: It can only be piloted by women, for some reason. Of course the main character, in standard anime fashion, is the exception.
But that doesn’t matter, because this isn’t his story. This takes place 20 years after the events of the events of the anime. ((Note- I’ve only read the light novel up to the point the anime ends. I don’t know if it goes any farther, I can’t find any more volumes.)) By this point, 6th Generation IS units have been created, and the IS academy in Japan is as prominent as ever. Student life goes on. But a storm is brewing…
There will be combat, yes, but it is by no means the main thing in the RP. Rolls will be a simple d20 system, augmented by stats. Experience has taught me I am not good at anything more complex.
I’m going to set a player limit at 8, for my own sanity. Might allow more later if I feel it isn't too high-maintenance. Applications are 2 sheets: The pilot, and their personal IS unit. It is not first-come first-serve.
Gender and sex are not on the sheet, because all pilots are female. However, I would allow transgender pilots (physically male, identifies as female), if someone wanted to make one. If you can give me a
very compelling argument as to why a male who identifies as such can pilot an IS- and this means more reason than “"He’'s special"”- You can PM it to me, and I’ll discuss it with you. All pilots are 15, in their first year at the academy.

Nationality: Students at the academy come from all over the world. Where are you from?
Appearance: What do people see when they look at you?
Bio: Who are you?
Skills: This represents your proficiency as a pilot. These are less related to the specs of your IS, more what you are good at as a pilot. You could be a first class sniper, but that doesn’t mean you’re worth anything when the fighting gets close. You could be capable of dodging a minigun at point blank range, but that doesn’t mean you can hit anything yourself.
20 points to spend. No skill can go above 10. Every point is a +1 to rolls related to it.
Evasion: Dodging.
Long Range: How effective you are with long range weaponry
Medium Range: How effective you are with medium range weaponry
Close Range: How effective you are in close combat.
Speed: How good at you at maneuvering? Separate from evasion, as this more deals with getting into range for your own weapons, or out of range of the enemy’s.

Appearance: What does your IS look like?
Equipment: What does your IS have, in regards to weapons and other equipment? Keep this within reason, the GM can veto any and all equipment. Without points in Modularity, the IS can have 2 weapons that can not be separated from the IS, and it can not use the weapons of other IS units.
Stats: 20 points to spend. Unlike skills, these represent the specifications of your IS.
Energy: Shield Energy. Can also be used to power certain attacks. Every point is 100 units. For safety reasons, competitions end when one combatant runs out of shield power.
Armor: This is twofold: one, it’s the hull integrity of your IS, and soaks up the damage once the shield is down. Two: It helps shrug off some damage, even when the shield is up. Every point is 100 units of hull integrity.
Drone Control: How many remote drones are supported by this unit. 2 points for each drone, and each drone can be a variety of different types.
Modularity: How modular your IS is. Every 3 points adds a slot for a weapon, which can be swapped with the weapon of another IS unit.
Hit: Hit rolls are opposing rolls, the defender rolling for Evasion, and the attacker rolling the appropriate skill for the range.
Damage: Damage is the damage of the weapon, minus the defender’s armor. Maximum of ⅔ damage off per shot.
Drones: Drones roll different skills based on their range; a sniper drone would roll off of long range, a smg drone would roll off of close range, etc.. Drones have a lower chance of hitting than if you yourself had been shooting, only getting ⅓ your bonus to their range, rounded down, and have lower damage, but they act on their own in addition to your move once you take a turn to activate them.
Weapons: Weapons can have multiple shots, with each doing a separate amount of damage to the enemy. On a hit, a die is rolled to see how many of the shots hit. Armor takes damage from each shot. More shots = less power per shot, and vice-versa. This means that heavier armored opponents can render rapid fire weapons less useful than a more powerful weapon with fewer shots. Melee weapons are all single shot. No reloads necessary: It’s assumed that your IS automatically loads the guns without your input. As a rule, many-shot weapons have high damage potential, but the greatest chance of failure, melee weapons have the lowest potential damage, but are the most reliable, while few-shot weapons are in between.
Movement: There are 3 ranges: Close, Medium, Long. You can roll to close or lengthen the distance from the enemy, unless they move towards you as well, in which case it automatically succeeds. A weapon will take a penalty to hit if it's out of range, -5 per range. Ex: A close range weapon will have a -10 hit at medium range, and a -15 at long range.
Charge: Certain weapons can be charged with your shield, adding the charge spent to a single shot.

Appearance: Slightly taller than the average IS, the Green Wolf seems to have somewhat thinner armor than most, focusing instead on having more weapons and drones. It has stylized wolf drawings all over it.

Medium Range Assault Rifle- fires 15 shots per attack, each shot doing 15 damage
Medium Range Bolt Action Rifle: Fires 2 shots per attack, each doing 75 damage.
Close Range Sword: 150 damage.
Close Range SMG: 20 shots per attack, 12 damage each.
Close Range SMG Drone - 20 shots per attack, 8 damage each.
