How's ammo level on turrets around base?

I tend to put 20-25 when I place them. Not sure about current levels. I have a computer half of today but no surface to use a mouse on. Factorio is not good with a trackpad. So no Factorio for awhile.


There's a new solar array on the peninsula and the blueprint for it is in the chest at the south east corner. It should ideally have a roboport in the center. Takes 150+ solar and accumulator.

We've got a few roboports in the east helping out with blue science and advanced circuit production, so there shouldn't be any more manual loading. When I quit there was a bit of a power crisis, as we had stopped solid fuel production in favor or petroleum gas, and so some of the boilers ran out of fuel. I plugged a few more miners into the coal loop, but ideally we'll just get more solar power. There are probably some extraneous factories that could be taken off line as well.

I think the save rolled back or something. I got another solar array up (we could do 1-2 more if we have the space) and blue automated with robots. 2 roboports in the east. Power is fine for now.

I don't know if anyone else is doing this but I tend to dump most of my inventory either into the network or in assemblers when I log off.

I got another refinery running, reworking the piping a bit, now we're actually stocking on petroleum gas

If I have more time later today I'll move the whole thing away from between the factories


anyway, some stats for the curious:

we're consuming plastic as fast as we produce it, and we're in need of more copper

mining and smelting uses 50% of all our energy. I think I'll put some efficiency module here and there. they can get consumption to -80% (2 module level 2) bringing usage from 9 to 2 Mw

We're starting to take some damage to turrets at the south west. I put up a roboport with construction and repair packs and a couple laser turrets to help. VERY large bases forming at the north across the lake. We need us some power armor. We're hurting on iron. I added some more iron and copper mining. Copper was not getting through to batteries and blue had come to a halt.

7-24 : Extending the wall on the south west to make room for more solars. We're getting fairly consistent attacks from both sides of the lake. Mostly from the east.

I've almost tripled blue science using robots.

killed some nest northeast and claimed the area up to the lake, brought back about 300 alien artifacts which were readily converted in science

also cleared the area a little and claimed the small iron ore patch there. the bus won't scale to the production level we need for the rocket defence, and we need to automate all the production of modules up to level three which will need a huge supply of alien artifacts


left a tank northeast, there is a ammunition factory just south of the oil refinery. I added another hundred of logistic robots but they seem to lag the game a little when they path.

neither do I about the new endgame balance, however looking at the in game info, it doesn't seem too taxing like the old rocket defence that required hundreds of modules.

At the very least we should get some level 3 modules going for power armor so we can better harvest artifacts.

It's fine for medium bases so far. Probably an armor'd be useful but it needs artifacts

anyway, tapped the big copper field east. just a bit, 24 miner and 20 smelters or so, the bus is at capacity we need a way to expand it. triple belts? double with reds?
