"Well we're in quite a pickle.""Well, Null, that's true enough- our game shows aren't working out. Most of them, anyway.""When was the last time we ran a Wacky Death Race?""Brilliant. Let's start the design process for... Omega I believe would be a good name."Thus Wacky Death Race Omega was born.Okay. You've probably heard of the Wacky Death Race games. Well here's one more(hopefully one that won't take too much work).
Okay. Three phases- plus the End. That is how it shall be.
6 players for those three phases.

6 players. Mm...
Once six have signed up, the Preparation Phase will begin.
The Preparation Phase will also be broken up into turns- during which you will build your racer and acquire other stuffs...
You get three rolls per turn. A roll can be used to roll for something or to reroll a previous one.
There will be 9 turns.
Turns 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 will be for acquiring parts and assembling your racer. Chassis, wheels, engine, and basic weapons will be acquired during this phase. You don't need to use rolls to assemble your racer, simply say how you want it to be in turn 5 using what you've acquired in the previous turns.
Turns 6, 7, and 8 will be for acquiring fuel, ammunition, and crew(plus food), the things needed to run your racer.
Turn 9? Use that for Special things. If you want a corporate sponsorship, any special items to add to your racer, or even a handgun, acquire it during this turn.
Rolls in any turn can be used for any valid purpose.
Once all that's done, finalize your racer.
Once all that's done, get to the Race Phase.
Part One: Technical Details
You get two actions in a Race Day(there's a night too) and one in the Night.
During the Race Day one of your actions is for movement, and the other... combat or whatnot(hacking into enemy, activating shields, firing cannons). A movement action can be converted into a combat action, but not vice versa. A combat action can also become a miscellaneous action(for scavenging materials, repairs, other things), but not vice versa. During the Night, go ahead and do whatever you like(but beware getting sleep-deprived).
For movement, your movement formula is as follows: (1d(e)+1). As long as you can consume one unit of fuel for every two square s moved, it will use that formula. If you don't have fuel for your engine... putter putter. You can scavenge for fuel in the surrounding area using a miscellaneous action, thankfully.
For weapons, armor... it all depends on the rolls you get during preparation phase and the actual combat rolls(plus any special abilities or whatnot). Combat is based on rolls and common sense. (The GM reserves the right to not make sense, but will try to follow rolls and common sense whenever possible.)
The track may be dangerous. It looks something like this:
O=track
S=start
F=finish
W=woods
A=water
R=relay station
OOOOOOOOOOOOW
WWWWWWWWOOW
OOOOOOOOOOORWW
OOWWWWWAAWWW
OOOOOROOAAWWW
WWWWWOOAAWWW
OOOOOROOOOWWW
OWWWWWWWWWW
FWWWWWWWWWW
Once the players make it to the finish, they have to pick up one of the three purple rocks there and bring it back to the start to win.

If a rule that the GM uses during the game becomes a convention, it will be posted under here.
At a relay station, players can spend their Tokens(acquired at a stipend at each Relay Station(the stipend is 10 Tokens)) to buy fuel, hire new crewmen, purchase food and special items, repair their vehicle, and otherwise refresh themselves.
Currently, for game one, no air vehicles(nor space) will be allowed.
Suggestions for items to be purchased at the Token Shop(at the Relay Stations) can be given and will most likely be processed.
During any turn in the Preparation Phase, you may spend some of your starting Tokens(25) at the Token Shop. You do not need rolls to get things from the Token Shop. These things can be acquired with rolls as well, just not as reliably.
Common Fuel(bio-gasoline), 4 unit: 1 Token.
Common Fuel(bio-gasoline), 40 units: 8 Tokens.
Generic Crewman, 10 Tokens.
Rations, 10 units(one unit good for one man, one day): 2 Tokens.
Large Scrap Metal Chunk: 4 Tokens. (good for repairs).
All other items subject to negotiation.
I would appreciate suggestions for improvements on my current system.
The Moonlit Shadow is helping me to make
this a reality.
