“This is most disturbing to hear, dear fellow men. Dragons are usually bearers of great wealth and signs of good fortune, but this is one of horrible luck and fear. I must delve into my books of knowledge and consult the mystic lores to quench the beast’s demons. Where did this happen? When did this happen? What was the weather like? Where were you each? How did the dragon beast look?”

This could work to appease them and then see if they are telling the truth. If they can’t sufficiently answer these questions, then they are probably lying. We should probably dismiss them and move on to other matters of the state.

A cute intersex harem with everyone in love with the androgynous king and smart and useful enough into pushing the kingdom forward.

"Sire, uh, the dragon, it.. uh... it ate the sheep from their corral near Boat two days ago, 'twas the late evening with a clear sky, and we were... well..."
"We were celebrating, m'lord!"
"Lil' Pete here got married!"
"Again!"
"We didn't drink much, m'lord!"
"Please, your Highness, slay the beast! It was dark, it had two wings and it swooped with great speed and snatched the sheep one leg each!"

You have a certain tingle that these four got drunk, ate or otherwise lost these sheep and probably lit the house on fire themselves.

Sigh. “Very well men, I will slay the beast. Guards, please escort these men out of the castle.” Ask Lorne if there are any less entertaining matters that we should look into.

"Well, there's that audience with the High Priest. Shall I contact him?"

Timeskip two weeks.

You sit in your throne room, playing with some parchment, when finally the High Priest enters. He requests an audience with you and you quickly grant it.

"So. What did you want?"

Ask him if he has any problems that we can help him with.

I guess we should be straight forward.

"Yeah, I am. You still haven't paid respects to the gods after taking rule."

"You could come to the temple and bend the knee in front of the pantheon."

Travel to the temple and pay respects to the gods.
